Do you have a pic of what the AB chicks look like? I think I have 1 or 2 in my group.

I was bad and didn't mark my eggs, not sure which were the AB. I have 19 chicks so far, the other 18 eggs just sit there :( Hope to get some late hatchers.

I figured they were AC chicks once I seen how black the legs were. :) The NN is either lavender or blue and will have a bow tie. Appears to have a what looks like a hernia, had lots of goo behind it when it hatched, more than the other chicks. Keeping an eye on it to make sure the others...

Yes you can, as long as the broody is willing. I wait until the chicks are fully hatched and fluffed though, so they don't shrink wrap in the transfer.

Chickenstock hatchings! Had 2 early birds yesterday when I got home from work, now up to 17 chickies. Who put a naked neck in there? Hubby already named it abomination lol. And got a couple solid blacks with black legs - so cute!

Candled my eggs again last night, pulled 4 more. Very early quitters or blood rings. 37 left. Anybody want to buy some chicks? :D Not even certain what breeds are in there anymore lol

We had rooster in the crock pot today too, hubby then turned it into chicken and biscuits. Yum!

Candled last night, pulled 9 clear and 1 blood ring, so a bator full of 41 still going! And we have a new broody, another Partridge Rock hen, but she is not as kind as her sister earlier this spring. Puts up a fight trying to pull her out and move her to the coop. Going to let her keep...

We found a tagged pigeon years ago, hung around the farm for weeks. Can't remember if we were able to figure out the tag. Might be someone's homing or racing pigeon that got lost. Someone in the main thread might be familiar with pigeons. Otherwise it sounds like you got a new pet ;)

@Chicken girl 15 I'll bring a tossed salad and veggie platter, scratch the Mac n cheese. And bringing rye/pumpernickel bread with dip. And got pickle slices. I'll only bring the cockerel if you want him. Let me know for certain and I'll catch him after he roosts Friday night.

I have a silver laced Wyandotte cockerel from Easter Hatch (almost 9 weeks). Broody raised, so he isn't very tame. He has a small straight comb, which is not correct for Wyandottes.

The raffle isn't an individual basket. You buy raffle tickets and put them in whatever bag next to them raffle item. So can never have too many eggs ;) I'd put some in for blue eggs.
