Thank you for your vote of confidence and your nice comments. Must be because we were neighbors before the days of BYC, even if we didn't know each other.
I hope you find someone with a lot of energy and tact. From what I've seen it appears to be a big job with little thanks.
For my part...
Scrambed Egg,
You will always be the Flock Mascot-ess. You started a fun thing that a lot of people enjoyed. It's too bad that a few people ruined a good thing.
I had fun with it and eagerly waited for my turn. I had some of the same problems that others have had like wanting to something...
Rhett&SarahsMom :
Ok. I sent Henry on WEEKS AGO.
I posted what he did while here.
Got the name/address of the next person.
Repacked him with his new travel buddy(dog) and a gift for the next host and sent him.
I can tell you that I do not appreciate getting accused of mail fraud or stealing...
Finally sent Beaker in the mail today.
Getting ready to go. He has a cookie to keep him from getting too hungry, the trumpet from the Christmas Tree, and a bottle cap from the Australian root beer as a memento.
For all you other mascot hosts, do NOT use duct tape on the package. I had...
Beaker made it back to So. Ill. I don't know what is in store for the next few days.
I didn't open up the glogg. I figured that after the kinderpunsch and the julmust he didn't need anymore.
The glogg is just a base, you have to add whatever else you want with it.
The two cheese stores have...
Beaker's adventures in Wisconsin.
You can't go to Wisconsin without getting cheese.
Here are his visits to two different cheese companies.
Geocaching again, this time in the snow.
Looking at my daughter's fish.
With some blown glass my son-in-law did...
One of the reasons Beaker didn't make it to the post office was because he was busy looking around dacs' place.
So this is what chickens do. Sit in boxes.
So that's Khaki.
Chickens really eat this stuff?
The girls and Big Rooster.
The other girls and Junior.
Sorry...
Well, Beaker didn't make it to the post office so he went to Wisconsin with us.
Will be posting photos of him visiting the chickens and doing other things around our place. Hope to get some snow photos to get him ready for his next visit.
This will probably be Beaker's last post with me. As much as we would like to keep him longer I feel it would really not be fair to do so. After his visit I have come to realize why our mascots seem to take a long time getting from place to place. We have plans for our mascot and things get...
Here is the main web site about geocaching.

Some call it using a multimillion dollar satellite system to find Tupperware in the woods.
Yesterday Beaker spent 6 hours in the car. We went some relatives for a family dinner and found one geocache along the way.
What are you humans waiting for? It's time to go.
Nice dirt road. (This is part of the half mile lane that leads to our quarter mile driveway.)
Found the cache.
Last night Beaker went to the Christmas social at church.
Helping put the treat bags for the kids together.
Playing the piano.
How do I look as a table centerpiece?
Too much fun.
That's a lot of food. No roast duck. Good thing.
There aren't any ducks in the Nativity.

Or hanging decoration, with bells and stars? lol
I don't think he is a decoration. I will find out Friday evening.
Beaker helped around the house while I was at work. The weather here is still cloudy and freezing.
Under the Christmas tree playing one of the ornaments.
Helping change a lightbulb.
It was a cold day here today. We had snow, sleet, and freezing rain. The roads are icy but Beaker got through the day with no problems. Well, he almost got through the day with no problems. He didn't have the proper clothing and equipment for work today but he did get to watch.
Beaker went...

OMG! You're right!! It's the Indiana Jones' father's hat and glasses!! My son is going to love him. He's a huge Indy fan. Hope he brings some of those cookies with him.
Sorry, the cookies are gone.
