I certainly hope someone decides to accept the "crele" (crelish colored) variety and move the color forward for acceptance to the APA. I think the more colorful roosters are prettier.
I would very careful introducing chicks with such light colored down in a breeding program. In my opinion, if breeders start keeping chicks like this for breeding stock, auto sexing will fly right out of the window!!!!
**waving frantically from the sidelines** I am definately interested in the Alternative SOP for Cream Legbars. I think Cream Legbars are pretty, but I LOVE the 'Crele' Alternative....
He looks like he is crouching down some...... Maybe he is like me? Camera shy? But, after studying the picture, and imaging him straightened up. I have to agree, his legs may be set a little far back. I do like the length of his back and his tail set.
Personally, I think Cream Legbars are pretty, but, I think the Golden Crele Legbars are beautiful.
Either way breeders of both varieties of Legbars have a long way to go.
You made perfect sense to me. The only thought that I can add is to inquire about the roosters temperaments. In my opinion, human agressiveness should not be in the gene pool.
