I had a Collie dog (really thick hair!) that was attacked by another dog, right on our front porch. He was caught off guard and never made a sound - we just heard loud thumping and finally went to see what the noise was. The other dog ran off but poor Spirit was covered in dog spit. And then...

Next time he gets up, try picking him up and setting him in the kitty litter box. he might need reminding where it is or maybe he's too sore to get to it. Don't let him out! Injured cats will go hide somewhere and you may not be able to find him. I hope he comes around soon. :hugs

It won't take long for him to acclimate but there may be some sad yowling before it's done - Tom has to be strong! It's for Finn's own good in the end - and better for your vet bills!
