Ahh, the calm before the storm....foggy, drizzly (is that a word? ) short showers here and there....54°F, only difference between last year and this year, ~ a week and half and 70°F.

Got the propane heaters out yesterday and filled all the propane bottles, stocked up on water and what not, taking showers tonight and filling the bathtubs with water. I would have been just fine not seeing 1 snowflake this year after that sh!t show last year, ugh

As of now, we have had a few sprinkles since ~7AM.
The “LOW” sat atop Plano in radar a little over an hour ago. Now you see it’s out over Cedar Creek Lake.

The winter freezing mix has been falling on Wichita Falls for a while now, looks to be about 15-20 minutes before Bowie, Tx starts to see the “Pink Mix”.

As I expected, the front rolled through sooner than forecast again. So our forecast to see the “Pink mix” is still ~3PM but, I’ll bet it’ll be here sooner than that…

Raining again. Gray overcast 50⁰ no wind.
Making beef neckbone soup. Used all the leftovers in fridge except the hot wings. It has cabbage, spinach, tomato, onion, green beans and mix veggies.
Smells awesome.

Been well over an hour of freezing rain here!

The trees are already starting to “shine” & crinkle in the wind.

The ice is the white shiny on the green tarp & red clam shell is the early ice coating.

Pretty but, obvious on the grill lid.

The trees show that tell-tale shine as well… zoom in on the fence droplets.

And that was an hour ago….
