These are my backyard pond inhabitants. (well front yard)
I have a nice big river that runs through the property and the pond is ideal for mallards, the geese and any other waterfowl i could put out there. They have done so well! I started with just a pair of the tufted romans, and they hatched 9 but lost many the first night to a racoon then i caught what lived and brooded them and ended up with 2 females and a gander, I assume they will be fine all breeding together in spring? i look forward to hatching 3x more eggs
Enjoy!!!! i sure do in person
It was really nice photo taking weather...we had just gotten our first snowfall over here in the east that night and got about 4 or 5 inches but it melted that day! so i got out there early to take photos

WHO CAN SPOT THE EXOTIC DUCK IN THE PHOTOS? NAME THE BREED
