    Sexing Barred Rock Chicks

    Hi everyone! Yesterday my first lot of barred rock chicks hatched! Is anyone here familiar with sexing them at a day old?     Hen or roo?

    I’m a new chicken owner and I’m curious if my barred rock is really a roo! It’s comb seems really red for being around 7 weeks old! The comb looks a little more red in person then in the pictures. Also the most dominate of the group.
