Our roo has shown some eye discharge and crustiness around his eye. He has also developed a nasty cough. Any ideas as to what this could be? I attached pictures of his eye. I should also add that I am not able to examine the bird myself, since I am off at college. Thanks in advance!
We have 5 chicks who are 5 weeks old and all different breeds so hard to compare. This is our Golden Laced Wyandotte Princess (or maybe Prince) Leia! Haha trying to answer the age old question of male or female? Any input is appreciated!!
I have a rooster about 18 weeks old started limping. He’s just not doing any better. I don’t see signs of Bumblefoot or any wound or anything broken. He’s a Cochin, so it’s really hard to see anything. He still looks beautiful, has a healthy look and appetite for food and mating, but his leg...

Updated pics of my silkie chicken. 11 weeks old now. I don’t see any sign of streamer feathers yet. Any guess of what he or she could be based on crown? Or any other indication I might be missing? Thank you!

I've attached pictures of the weirdo in question.. my poor hens are starting to bald! :(
I'm considering getting a Polish bantam roo for my bantam flock, however the one I'm looking at is 1 year old and my flock is around 12 weeks. My instinct tells me this isn't a good idea. I'm still fairly new to this so opinions please!!
