~«Survival By War»~ (Warrior cat rp)

Following along her same general path of thought once he looked back and down at her, Blackwind made a point of giving Sagepaw an exaggerated nudge before he continued along. When these belated two finally reached the jubilant cluster of young cats, he offered them all an exclusively broad smile. "Hey, guys, congrats on making it to real life!"
"Thanks, Blackwind!" Rabbitleap bounded over, greeting Sagepaw with a rather rough headbutt to her shoulder. "I cannot believe I'm a warrior!"
Sagepaw huffed, staggering as Rabbitleap headbutted her shoulder harshly. Her pelt brushed against something equally as soft and warm, and at that moment, she realized with horror what she had stumbled against. Blackwind. As inconspicuously as possible, she sidestepped slightly, edging slowly to a safe distance away. But she knew the damage already had been done, because Rabbitleap shot her a amused glance. "Uh...uh...yeah...congrats guys."

Blackwind, obviously greatly unbalanced by Sagepaw, fell into the nearest body of water.

Nettlepaw watched Rabbitleap, Blackwind, Dustypaw, Gingersplash and Sagepaw carefully. Sagepaw looked completely healthy now, though her hind right leg still showed bare scars that would never completely heal. She looked tiny next to Blackwind; she was already a small cat, and Blackwind's spider-like legs caused him to practically tower over her.
She looked happy though. And Nettlepaw hated herself for it, but she felt a pang of jealously. How could she be as happy as Sagepaw, knowing what she did? With a sigh, she hauled herself to her paws, and slipped inside the medicine cats den. "Ashstripe?" She called hesitantly. "Ashstripe, please talk to me. I'm going to go mad if this lasts any longer."

Ashstripe padded out from the confines of the quarantine cave, her footsteps as acutely soundless as though she'd physically passed from this plane long ago. Her pelt showed its neglect in the dim light; no longer did she smell of sweet milk, only the dust and grim of dormancy. Her enlarged pupils, accustomed to gathering the little light available in here, stood out from dimmed green irises. She looked like an olden creature forgotten for its wholly unacceptable imperfections.
Perhaps that is what I am and what I should be.
"I hear celebration, do I not?" she ventured slowly, her tail making abrupt jerks as it waved to and fro. "Warrior ceremony, perhaps?"

Nettlepaw flinched as the she-cat appeared, taking a hesitant step back. She was no longer the motherly figure she once knew. No longer did the tabby have any motivation to teach Nettlepaw about herbs or the ways of StarClan the way she used to. A pang grew in her chest at the thought.
Will I ever have Ashstripe back? The real Ashstripe? Not just the shell of what she used to be?
"Yes." She dared to lift her gaze from her herb-stained paws, meeting her mentor's dull and practically lifeless eyes, but her head was still low. "Rabbitpaw, Gingerpaw and Brokenpaw are warriors now. Rabbitleap, Gingersplash and Brokenwing."
