«We Could Be Legends»

"Well you shouldn't just joke with that sort of stuff, Lachlan!"Wolfram hissed. He backed away from Lachlan, casting one glance at Bleddyn, and ran up the stairs, seconds later the door of the guest bedroom slamming shut. The house shook slightly as the door slammed shut.
"You should learn to take it." Lachlan muttered under his breath as the door slammed shut.
"What was it this time?" River growled as she came up to Lachlan.
"I made a joke."
"Must have been some joke." She said, raising an eyebrow.

Wolfram collasped onto the bed, burying his face into the sheets."What is wrong with me?"He whispered.

Lachlan's head snapped around to Bleddyn. "You diffidently did." He paused as she fell back. "The blows from the fight should be better anytime now, your stomach and any other wound you've acquired, I don't know. Crashing a dirt bike does that."
"Yup," Sherri said.
"Sherri."Wolfram snarled the name with disgust in his voice."I never knew any of these people existed, until now. I sheltered myself all my life, when I was younger people hated people like us."He growled, and looked up at Lachlan."At least I have one person I can call a friend."
Don't Sherri me, Sherri thought. Probably fair for what I said though. Sherri rolled her eyes dramatically. I don't care what horrible people like him think of me though. They think that of everything. Grace, Ella, Brisa, Alice, Lachlan, they matter.
"So he likes Bleddyn, huh? Knew it."

Wolfram collasped onto the bed, burying his face into the sheets."What is wrong with me?"He whispered.
Lachlan drug himself up the stairs, and stopped in-front of the shut guest bedroom door. "Wolfram, I'm sorry I said that."

Wolfram slowly sat up at Lachlan's voice. He got up, slowly opening the door. He looked defeated."I should be the sorry one." He mumbled."I shouldn't have snapped like that. I admit it, I'm a mess right now, and I jump from one emotion to another in less time that it takes to blink. You don't need to apologize, I do. Sorry, Lachlan."

"Don't you dare apologize. You've been through more in the last few days probably than I have in my life." Lachlan said, and paused. "If you want to come back down, I think we are about to eat. It's lasagna if you like that."

"You sound like Bleddyn now."Wolfram snorted."I'll come back down, I guess."

Wolfram followed him, and kept glancing at Bleddyn. If she heard me, I'm pretty sure I'll never wake up in the morning.
Lachlan walked over to the kitchen and living-room dividing counter were his mother and Emily were. "Is the lasagna almost done?" He asked.
"Almost." River said.
