(Hmm, they have a goal at River's house... Sorry. I know it's no fun to be left out. I'm working on getting to Sunday in RP, and catching Misty up. We should be able to start Sunday either later tonight or tomorrow. I've kind of let it drag on cause I've been busy IRL)(Is the Pure going for everyone, or just certain people?)

)Wolfram slammed the door shut, panting. The skeleton of the house trembled in his wake, Finnally easing. The wind howled outside like a wolf, desprate for its pack. The rain pounded against the windows, hard and fast. Thunder roared like a lion on its pride rock, loud and furious. Lightning snapped through the sky, sizzling flicker's following its wake. He leaned against the white wooden door, panting. He was now very aware of his surroundings. The thunder and rain. The large window on one wall, the only source of light coming from outside was the occasional sizzle of lightning. A small bed lamp sat on a small desk, flickering occasionally. A large, wooden dresser, and a bed. The room was white, with a light gray rug. His chest tightened, panic, fear, anxiety, rage, agony, pain and grief grabbed his chest, one emotion pulling him one way, the other another way. His heart thundered in his chest as he remembered the enchantress. Her eyes, so calm, yet full of fear as he held the knife at her throat. He remembered the feeling he felt from her, something he had felt only once before. His father. His manipulative, lying, good for nothing, excuse for a homo sapien of a father. He remembered the look in his fathers eyes. Full of hatred, disgust. Wolfram's throat tightened, strands of his raven black hair falling into his face. Slowly, he walked towards his bed. Suddenly, he whipped around, slamming a fist into the white wall, a snarl of enraged agony erupting from his throat. He punched the wall again, tearing the skin on his hand. He slammed the side of his fist against the wall, and he started sobbing, his forehead leaning against the wall. So,etching was ripping at his chest. Not physically, but emotionally. Something was almost calling him, but he didn't know what.I just want to be free of this pain. I know what I have to do, but I don't know if I have the strength or will to do it.

Wolfram punched the wall, but with little effort and little force. Another sob welled in his throat, when he paused. He heard a bang. And then another. He pulled away from the wall, going towards his door. It wasn't dishes clattering, or a foot slammed to hard on the ground, or a chair leg hitting the ground as someone stood up. It was a forceful, noticeable, loud knock. He glanced at the clock at his bed side. Who would be knocking at the door in this weather, at this hour? He reached out a pale, trembling hand, opening the door. He stepped out, going to the top of the stairs. Another, loud BANG! slammed against the door, the glass window on the door shuddering."River..?"He called downstairs, his voice strained."Who is that?"
After Wolfram left, the silence at the table was deafening. Poking idly at the increasingly unappetizing contents of her plate, Bleddyn realized that Wolfram had taken all of the conversation life with him. In his absence, this atmosphere was prone to being reclaimed by monotone small talk.
No matter how much I want to hate him, I didn't come over here to be bored to death.
Bleddyn swallowed another mouthful and shoved her plate forward. "Done, thanks."
She pushed her chair back and stood up, ignoring the glare Emily was probably pinning to her back for leaving the dinner table without excuse. Sometimes, Bleddyn couldn't understand why her mother and this woman were such good friends. If Ash expected the same infuriating etiquette in her own daughter's mannerisms, Bleddyn probably would've left home years ago.
She left the kitchen briskly and jogged up the carpeted stairs, appreciating her prevalence over defeating the migraine that was loathe to free her.
Bleddyn pressed her face against the first bedroom door, listening. The reverberation of the sudden impact that a nearby wall took informed her that this was undoubtedly the room River had given Wolfram.
"Can I come in?"
Maybe I'll be able to get most of what I missed out of prying ears' way.
Frosty watched Cat Person #1 use the wall as his punching bag. Seems likes he really doesn't know where the Key is. He pondered. Frosty was so distracted by this train of thought that he didn't see the big dark vans(?) pull up. He finally noticed when Wolfram started down the stairs. Wait a second... He craned his neck and saw a few dark figures that were either people in black or oversized garden gnomes. He cursed under his breath and quickly brought up one of his legs, clumsily pressing what looked like a button on a tiny watch. He muttered a garbled sentence in it that mentioned gophers and bronze top hats, then realized too late the faint light on the device was off. They cut the transmission! Probably deactivated all the phones in this area too. How lucky am I! He muttered under his breath and flapped down from the thin branch he was perched on, landing in the muddy grass. He hasn't planned this, but he had to do something. Frosty ran, hopping and flapping to gain speed, towards the Pure. He leapt towards one in the back of the group, flapping in her face, but was easily swatted away after she figured out what he was.The door rattled, someone's harsh knocking shaking it with it's force. What in the...?
River slowly pushed her chair back, sliding out of it, and stalking out of the kitchen, glancing up at Wolfram momentarily, before turning back to the door. It shuddered again under a powerful fist. Sounds like they're trying to knock it down more than knock. She thought, walking forwards, peering out a window for a second. "Look alive." She snarled. "We've got company."
~
Lachlan jumped up, stumbling backwards. He positioning himself out of sight of the door, shifting into a wolf.
~
River crept up to the door after giving everyone a few seconds to either shift or grab a knife, as she approached the door flung up, and her eyes were greeted by the sight of humans only wearing black, their features obscured by large black masks. How do they even see in those? She wondered. Her hand flicked down for her gun too slow as one of them raced forward, punching River down and kicking her across the floor.
The pain raced through her as she lay in a heap wheezing, blood dripping from her nose.

Frosty watched fearfully. His wing was limp at his side, so he was little help. I can't just stand by and do nothing! Then the same woman who had swatted him away turned towards him. He let out a squawk and scampered away."Very good. Grab the cat boy, the wolf boy and the powerless girl. Leave the rest."A low feminine snarl came from the door way, and a tall woman with half black, half light tan hair, calico cat ears and cat tail, and emerald green cat eyes stepped into the doorway, with a menacing elegance.
Lucas-- who was luckily still out of sight, stared at River. There's no time to check on her... She'll be okay, she's always okay. I have the files, Wolfram holds everything... We can't be caught! He slid under the table. But I need a distraction... He stared at his mother, but she was still down, gasping for breath. No one is giving me one. I just have to be fast. He shot forward, leaping up the stairs to Wolfram and Bleddyn. He looked down the stairs."Very good. Grab the cat boy, the wolf boy and the powerless girl. They diffidently saw him.
He shifted to a human, and looked wildly at Wolfram. "We have to get out of here."
