"I'm not scared of either of you!"Wolfram snarled, and flinched away when Mapleshade loomed closer.

~

"Yes you are, sweetheart."Mapleshade hissed, hooking a sharp, claw like nail under his chin, her eyes dark."Do you see this knife?"She said softly, glancing at the glittering blade, before back to him."I'm going to kill you with it. Just like I did your pathetic mother!" Mapleshade let out a snarling laugh that echoed through the house.

~

Wolfram stared at her, his breath catching in his throat. Suddenly he let out a shriek, surging upward."NO!!!" He slammed Mapleshade to the ground."I can't believe you!"He snarled, raising the knife. Then, a agonizing pain shot through his shoulder, his vision swimming, the knife falling out of his hand. I've been shot with a dart....
As she landed, Indigo took the opportune moment to stomp on Mapleshade, considering they were at a disadvantage and unfair techniques were being used.

"You stupid drowned rat, give me my daughter back!" Emily kicked Mapleshade in the temple.

Mapleshade snarled, avoiding Emily, but a blow landed to her shoulder from Indigo. She shoved Wolfram off her, a low groan, and then silence from the boy. Mapleshade stood up slowly."Get the others."She snapped, as two guard dragged Wolfram and Sherri outside.

Taking advantage of her current state of insignificance, Bleddyn darted over to the stove and swiped a gleaming pan. She brandished it wildly as Mapleshade threw Sherri to one of her henchmen, silently pleading that Emily didn't do something stupid while under the influence of maternal rage. "Hey, Cruella de Vil!"

Having knocked the soldier down, Lachlan turned around, looking quickly around for his mother. He caught sight of her, she was pulling herself up, when something hit him in the back.
No... He groaned as his vision swam, everything turning blurry. Stupid dart happy Pure... His vision turned black, and he collapsed, passed out.

Newbie stared at the downed Shifter, shocked that he had managed to bring him down. He stumbled up, grabbing the Shifter by the leg, and began to drag him back.

Emily kicked a guard in a certain place and tried to pull Sherri away. She was frustrated herself that she couldn't shift. She tried to struggle out of his arms and claw up his face.

"Good, three out of the four down. Now...you."Mapleshade growled, facing Bleddyn.

The guard fell, groaning, but three other masked men came charging forwards, two grabbing Sherri, one holding up a gun, facing Emily.

Bleddyn stood there for a moment, shocked motionless by the reality that she was pretty much the last one of her comrades standing.
Then, with a cliche battle scream, she ran forward with her pan and clobbered the crap out of Mapleshade's skull with zero reverence for the knife the psycho woman clutched.
She really didn't like this woman.

Mapleshade let out a screech of pain, her vision swimming as the pan hit her head. Her head throbbed like....like she Didnt know know what. Then, a open target. She surged forward, slamming the knife into Bleddyn's thigh, not caring if blood loss would kill the girl or not.

Emily jumped back with her hands up, and backed into a wall, even though it was obvious she meant harm. Sherri struggled and scratched him, digging her claws in, reaching for his face, but it was masked. (Yup, that's why cat burglars wear masks.)

Indigo contributed by jumping on Mapleshades back several times like an annoying sibling.
She ran back out and started kicking random dressed up in black dudes.

Indigo screeched this time, attempting to knock the knife out of the stupid cat womans thigh.

Bleddyn looked down at her leg with a sort of slow wonderment.
Then she started laughing, so horribly amused at the red tide spreading across her jeans. The blooming pain had no claim against this freakish desire to lose herself in wry hilarity. "Didn't see that one coming."
