«We Could Be Legends»

Toby glanced at the clock. It was almost seven o'clock. "If I take something at ten, I should be up by seven tomorrow. Or, I could just play video games all night & sleep tomorrow. Eh, screw it. Video games it is!" Toby said to himself. He stood up & grabbed his controller. He looked through his games & picked a random one. "Really? You're just gonna play games all night?" Jessi asked disapprovingly.
"Yup. Because that's what mature adults do. They stay up all night & play video games." Toby said. He offered her a controller. "Wanna play?" He asked. Jessi grabbed it. "You mean mature adults risk their health for a game?" Toby sat down on the sofa. "Well, that too."
"Then you don't sound very mature or adult-ish." Jessi said.
"You must not know me then. I am incredibly mature." Toby said.
"Oh really? That's coming from the guy who spent three hours spinning on a chair." Jessi said. They started the game.

Newbie dragged Lachlan's unconscious body into the back of a black van, hopping out, and another Pure agent tossed Sherri in. (@AMERAUCANAS4REAL I'm just getting her in and and the unconscious ones in so that the Pure can leave soon)
Newbie went back inside of the house, which he noted looked rather fancy and expensive. He dragged Wolfram into the back of the van.

Mapleshade let out a snarl of pain, though almost impressed by the strength behind the first."Watch your attitude, child!"She hissed, dragging Bleddyn to the door, where a masked guard came up, ready to stop the fiery-tempered teenager if she did anything."Oh really? You don't know the stupid kitty boy? He seemed awful protective of your unconscious body in the park. Pathetic child, so desperate for someone to care about him, but pushes them away the very moment they show any sort of affection or care. He'll be so pleased to know I killed his idiotic mother with the very blade that's in your leg."She hissed.
"That's the biggest load of nonsensical double standards I've ever heard." Bleddyn looked between Mapleshade and the burly man she'd summoned, weighing her options, and trying stubbornly to ignore the increasing curiosity she was suffering about what exactly had transpired while she was out. Can't do much with a knife in my leg, can I? "Oh, so you've killed with this thing? Why not try it a second time?"

"Is not. That child is the most desperate, weak and depressed creature I've ever seen."Mapleshade growled. At Bleddyn's last words, Mapleshade frowned mockingly."Aw, wouldn't want to do that. Might break the kitty boys heart. Wouldn't want to do that, would we?"She hissed, her voice now inches away from Bleddyn's, a wild, crazed look in the feline women's eyes.

Bleddyn was slightly disturbed now and tried to step away, only to find that the vice grip on her arm and the wound in her leg were going to keep her pretty much stationary. "Woman, you already killed his mother. How much more could you break him? If you're looking to hurt him, eliminating me isn't the way to go. We're not even friends."

"Oh sweetheart, I can break him even more."Mapleshade's eyes glittered with a insane glaze."His mother destroyed my life, She got all the attention, even though she wasn't a Inhuman! People paid her all the attention, because she was pretty, smart, and kind, the child of two inhuman's, but with no Inhuman powers. She got what she deserved, and now her child with pay to, for every time his pathetic mother hurt me!"She hissed."Oh maybe not friends in your mind, but I was watching him in the park, the way he looked at you. He thinks of you way deeper then a friend. Why I don't know, look at you."She sneered."But I can use you to get what I want. I can get the key from him, and have everything I ever wanted. And you are going to help me."

Alice set the piece of paper she had taken from Lachlans house on the kitchen island, unfolding it. It was mostly dry. She carefully pulled the business card out of her pocket that the police officer had given her, and set that on the counter top too. It was fully saturated, but somehow intact. She looked over at Camilla who had her back to her, standing in front of the microwave.

"So, I guess you know now. You really won't tell anyone? Not even mom and dad?" Alice didn't know how much she could trust her little sister, they never seemed to be able to get along. But this was something important, and it's not like she could take back her knowing. So she didn't really have a choice.

Camilla turned to her older sister, for a second puzzled before what Alice spoke of dawned on her. "Guess I won't, unless someone's like, dying or something. I just want to know, why don't you want to tell anyone? What's so wrong with being a healer?" She said, her voice rough.

Alice frowned. "Dyn. She doesn't have powers and really wants them. And for a long time I thought I didn't have any either. It was nice to have someone, like me. I don't want her to feel alone. I've healed her a few times, when she was in the hospital. I'm not going to just let people die. But I don't want her know, if she doesn't have to."

"She's not gonna like it if she ever finds out you hid being a healer from her." Camilla said. "I won't tell anyone."

Alice sat quietly analyzing the piece of paper. there really wasn't much on it. Could these letters and numbers be the key? She glanced at the dead phone that she had put on the counter next to her, mocking her.

"I'm going to see if I can track down this company." She said finally pushing back the stool she sat on. "Does your phone still work?"
