«We Could Be Legends»

Alice sat quietly analyzing the piece of paper. there really wasn't much on it. Could these letters and numbers be the key? She glanced at the dead phone that she had put on the counter next to her, mocking her.

"I'm going to see if I can track down this company." She said finally pushing back the stool she sat on. "Does your phone still work?"
Camilla flicked her eyes over to her sister from doing her English assignment. She pulled her phone from her pocket. "Yeah, here." She shoved the phone at Alice.

"Oh sweetheart, I can break him even more."Mapleshade's eyes glittered with a insane glaze."His mother destroyed my life, She got all the attention, even though she wasn't a Inhuman! People paid her all the attention, because she was pretty, smart, and kind, the child of two inhuman's, but with no Inhuman powers. She got what she deserved, and now her child with pay to, for every time his pathetic mother hurt me!"She hissed."Oh maybe not friends in your mind, but I was watching him in the park, the way he looked at you. He thinks of you way deeper then a friend. Why I don't know, look at you."She sneered."But I can use you to get what I want. I can get the key from him, and have everything I ever wanted. And you are going to help me."
Bleddyn took all of this info like brash thorns to unprotected skin. Slowly, her mouth curved into a twitching frown. Thrumming red mists crept up and began to encroach on her judgment, swaying her toward irrationality that would wreck any chances she had.
You're telling me everything I don't want to hear.
Finally, Bleddyn fell prey to all the pain and lost herself. She heaved herself backward, and kicked out wildly with her good leg until gravity forced her fall. Lost in a tangle of limbs, she continued to lash out illogically from the floor.

Mapleshade snarled loudly, jumping out of the insane girls reach."Grab her."She snarled.

A guard dressed head to toe in black, with a terrifying mask, grabbed Bleddyn by the arm, dragging her forcefully to the van. He threw her in there with Wolfram, Lachlan and Sherri, a long drawn out groan echoing from the back."Have fun."the male snarled, shutting the door.

Wolfram groaned softly, a jolt sending another wave of nausea through him. The dart seemed to only have half a dose of 'poison' or whatever. He was half awake, half unconscious, like his body couldn't decide.

Sherri sit in the darkness of the truck with unconscious others, feeling helplessly alone.

Emily was behind a gun.
"Don't shoot, lower the gun," a voice said. The men obliged. "Let her be." And they let her leave. Indigo grabbed Emily's hand and shoved a less disgusting business card in it. "I can use my powers for good. And I can help you find my daughter. Meet me at uh... I-Hop in 12 hours."
Emily shook the hand of her life saver, feeling awkward as the men stared hungrily at Indigo's back. She was able to drive away, while Indigo stayed.

Lachlan kept coming to and fro consciousness, forcing his eyes open as another thud sounded beside him as his friend was shoved in, the van doors closing. "Stupid half... dart happy... Pure." He moaned, wincing. He seemed to come a little more awake when he saw that Bleddyn was bleeding. "Bleddyn... You bleeding er lot... What happened?"

(I was think maybe Emily would stick around to help River out with something? Saving the teens. Only if you want to.)

Wolfram slowly sat upright, groaning in pain. Bleddyn? She's hurt? He forced a wave of nausea away, blinking. His pupils widened, and he was now able to make out shapes."Bleddyn?"He rasped, and wished he never spoke. His throat was dry, like sand scraping against raw, sensitive skin.

Bleddyn threw herself at the trunk door the instant it was slammed shut. The noises coming from her throat were unearthly, hybrids between roars and shrieks. The left leg of her pants was pretty much a solid red and blood squelched underneath her bare feet as she slammed herself futilely again and again. It was only when the sensation of a cold solid being wedged even farther into her flesh did she slow her crazed attempts.
She sank to her knees alongside the boys, transfixed into eerie silence at the sight of the carved hilt of the knife protruding from her thigh.

Alice took the phone, and swiped to unlock it. Searching for different names that a key make might be called. Key maker, Key cutter, locksmith...

Locksmith and Smith. A company name that had the same emblem as what was on the corner of the paper. It was in the city, but not near any of the normal shops. 84 Glasser St. hours, 8-5 Sunday to Saturday. Alice glanced at the time on the phone. It was already 9. They would have to wait until at least tomorrow, but they'd have to slip out before mom noticed.

"I think I found." She said, handing the phone back to Camilla. "Maybe someone there will know where the key is."
