«We Could Be Legends»

"Yes, that's me," Indigo replied, her British accent very noticeable.

(Das what I thought!)
"I have a couple questions, if you don't mind." River said, flicking her wolf ears. "My son told me about what happened in the park, he also told me about you mentioning the Multitude. Who are they?"

He can't get it out. The thought tried to send a ball of anxiety to inhabit her gut.
When he took out his frustration on an inanimate structure once more, she had a quick shot at alleviation from hope's weakening, gradual leave. "What's with you and the poor walls?"
She just couldn't get the snarky humor she wanted into the query; the slow response of her limbs and lag in mental processing had made her aware that her she wasn't in the best of condition.
"They deserve it for just sitting there doing nothing."Wolfram replied, his voice dull. He looked over at her, not that she could see him. And he couldn't see her all that well either. He was silent for a minute, as if searching for something."I meant what I said back there."His voice hung in the air like mist for what seemed like ages."You aren't useless. Mapleshade made me freeze under her glare, yet you laughed in her face like she was nothing but a fly."He paused, a soft rustling coming from where he sat, as if he was moving."You are really brave. Braver then I ever will be."
Are you going for the pity vote? Because it sure sounds like it.

There's that word again. Useless. So frequented. Bleddyn swallowed hard and kept her voice level. "Well, you and she have history. To me, she's just some psychopath furry with bad aim."
At his last words, irritation dried her mouth and she suddenly found herself to be incredibly uncomfortable in aggressively itching skin. "Well, fear is a choice, you know." Her words were brisk, sharper than she had intended. Mapleshade's jeers were bounding up from the jails of her mind, influencing her actions far more than she appreciated. She wanted to get to me and that's what she did.
