«We Could Be Legends»

Jessi looked over at Alice. She grabbed a tissue box and set it on the table in front of her. She sat down next to Alice, and wrapped her wing around her. "Are you okay Alice?" She asked softly.
She smiled weakly at Jessi, she was shaking.

(I'm writing I can only go so fast. ;) )

(I'm curious about what she's referring to here. )
***Frankie took Emily and Sherri's details and told them he'd want to talk to them later and sent them on their way.***

Alice Had moved away from the noise of the phone on speaker and went to sit in the living room. She felt sick, she could still hear Jessi yelling at Toby. They were safe it seemed but hurt, and it was Aunt River's phone they had called so They were all at least with River. Alice brought her knees up to her chest hugging them with her arms. Tears filled her eyes, but she didn't know why. She was probably just over whelmed by everything.

Alice didn't notice when Bleddyn burst through the door. Her chest hurt, and it was hard to breathe. Tears now streamed steadily down her cheeks but she didn't know why.
Camilla, who had been leaning in a corner, listening to the steady flow of chatter, slipped from the shadows and approached her sister slowly. What's wrong with her now? She wondered annoyedly, glaring over at Alice.
But something seemed seriously wrong, Alice didn't just randomly cry. But at the same time, she had never had been chased down by a gang trying to steal from them and kill them.
She gave a short tempered growl under her breath. "What's wrong with you?"

"Are they really that bad? Ok." Jessi responded. She walked down the stairs and into the living room. "Should we order pizza? I think everyone is probably starving."
"Yes, they are indeed that bad," Bleddyn murmured to herself, gradually tuning out of the world and falling prey to the water's temporary cleanse from reality.
Her cut scalp stung as the scalding water streamed through it, but she didn't move to turn the temperature down. Her gashes bloomed angry, spreading shades of red, agitated by the unholy heat. She would've been content to just lean against the shower wall for an indefinte stretch of hours and let the whole weekend burn away. If only I could stay in here forever. It'd be nice.

An abrupt surge of nonsensical rage suddenly had her clenching an unfortunate shampoo bottle before she could even figure out why; of course, its rebuttal was a spray of viscous foam in her face.
During her blind, stung panic, the slick tub floor stole her balance away and she landed painfully on her tailbone. Assorted dislodged containers of hair product pelted down on her.
Ow.

Jessi heard a crash coming from upstairs. She quickly stood up and ran over to the bathroom. I hope she's okay. Gah, why can't I be in many places at once? That would be so much better for protecting people. Jessi knocked on the door. "Are you okay in there?" She asked worriedly. She disliked bathrooms because of the risk of people getting hurt in them.

She stared up at Camilla confused at her own emotions. "I don't know."
Jessi stood up and grabbed a blanket. She handed it to Alice and sat back down. "Can I get you anything?" She asked.
She shook her head in response to Jessi. Burying her face in her arms.

Bleddyn wasn't exactly trusting herself to use polite words right now, so she shoved aside the shower curtain and pitched a barrage of shampoo bottles at the door in reponse.

"I'm just gonna take that as a 'I'm okay'. Don't break anything!" Jessi said and walked back downstairs. She took off her shoes and sat down.

Jessi looked around. "How many people are there? I think at least four large ones, maybe more. What kinds should we get? Do you know if anyone has any allergies?"

"That sounds good." Brisa replied. "How many should we get?"

"Maybe just the basic, cheese and pepperoni? I'm not sure about allergies though. Maybe we could see if we could get a gluten-free one? I don't know what to do about any possible dairy allergies..." Brisa replied.

Brisa noticed Alice's tears as Jessi went over to her, but didn't say anything, thinking that too many people fussing over her might make her cry more. That's what happens to me, anyway. She thought.
