«We Could Be Legends»

As Lily cuddled against him, trembling from cold, Wolfram grew increasingly uncomfortable, and when Ash spoke, it became increasingly worse. He glanced at Ash, shaking his head violently. "No...no...uh...we aren't together...anymore..." He winced at the tremble in his voice, and how idiotic he sounded.
"What ever do you mean, Wolfy?" Lily cooed, looking up at him innocently. "Of course we are together."
Kill me now... He hate how innocent Lily sounded. How innocent she looked. Like she truly believed her words. He hissed softly, prying Lily from his side, forcing her away from him. "No, we are not." He snarled, his voice much harsher and colder then he intended. "Not after what you did."
He didn't want to argue with her in front of Ash. Actually, scratch that, he didn't want to argue at all.
His eyes, previously a dull shade of blue-gray, where now back to their regular blue, but ten times colder as he shot a glare in Lily's direction, before turning away from her and Ash, and promptly walking away, a air of exasperation and coldness about him.
"Well, it's not my place to assume anything, but stressful times like these can certainly upset relationships," Ash murmured sympathetically after a considerable amount of uncomfortable silence had ensued. Since her one and only dating experience had obviously gone swimmingly, she couldn't directly relate to the apparently petty issues these two were suffering; but being the kindhearted soul that she was, she went ahead and attempted to be emphatic anyway. "Don't take it too hard. Seems like he's going through a lot."

Connor halted his heavy plodding and made his way over to Wolfram. However much he despised the kid, he appreciated whatever bit of sane reconnection that had driven him away from the unproductively meandering group.
He tipped his muzzle back toward this disoriented gaggle and gave a disdainful growl.

"Going through a lot or not, he had no right to be so cold." Lily muttered, crossing her arms. "He's always been this way. He's always been depressed, cold, unpredictable. He would have short bursts where he would be fine, he acted like he was actually enjoying life, and then he would just give up again. He's dangerous, don't you understand that? He hurts people for no reason. He's incredibly unpredictable and he'll snap at any moment. He can't handle grief at all, and it makes him a hazard."

Wolfram huffed, glancing at the wolf. "What do you want?" He muttered, pausing and looking down at him. "If you're going to give me a lecture about staying away from your daughter, I really, really do not want to hear it."

Ash slowly edged away from the agitated girl as she ranted on. She'd horribly misjudged this sour character. Now she seemed anything but deserving of Ash's pity.
Good going, Wolfram, if you really do manage to ditch this.
"Well, if you see him that way, perhaps it's better for everyone that you...take a break." She began to walk away in search of Bleddyn, then turned back with an unusually crisp parting. "I don't think anyone's able to 'handle grief.'"

Connor growled dismissively, shook his head, and flopped down to the ground with an audible ooof. The language barrier was frustrating, but not enough so that'd he shift.

"If you think otherwise then you really are a idiot." Lily muttered. She glanced at Taylor. "I'm leaving." She snapped, stalking out of the park with her arms crossed.

Wolfram leaned against the minivan, slowly sinking down to sit by the wolf. Drawing his knees to his chest, and crossing his arms over the top of them, resting his chin against his arms. He stared into the distance, frowning. Lily... He caught sight of her, and he suddenly let out a sigh that was mixed with frustration and grief.

Good riddance. Jessi thought, glaring at Lily's back as she walked away. She walked around the park, looking at the people. Everyone was standing around with different looks of fear and worry and grief. Everyone here had lost so much, and if they didn't stop the Pure everyone would lose so much more. Who would survive the poison?

Sherri sighed a gasp of relief as the poisonous character left, and saw everyone else was doing the same.
No wonder Wolfram's messed up. That girl is insane.

Bleddyn decided she'd had enough of wasting away in Indigo's loitering vehicle when equally enthralling nothingness was happening outside.
Enemy-device-destroyer-thingamabob in hand, she slammed through the nearest window.
Glistening shards were still clattering to the pavement when she hurled herself through.
(The door is open)
