«We Could Be Legends»

Though Peter could get sidetracked, he was observant enough to notice the commotion happening by the kid Toby had called Wolfram. He had just been watching, but when he saw the guy with the dog run away and Wolfram pull out a knife, he knew he had to do something. He got up, then teleported in between Indigo and Wolfram. "Come on, people!" He said, holding his hands out. "Maybe we should just talk about this!" If it hadn't been for the urgent situation, Peter knew he wouldn't have been able to do this, let alone speak up in front of these people.

"No deal. Do not do it. Do not do it. Do not do it. Do not do it. Do not do it. Do not do it..." Indigo's voice echoed in his mind, nearly impossible to ignore. She looked so scared, so vulnerable, not small though. She towered over him. Rage filled her violet eyes. "Don't."
Wolfram was about her height, and was scared by her. At least, not that he showed."I'm not scared of you, lady. Really, I'm not. So do we have a deal?"His hands became whiter then a cloud as his hand clutched the knife very tightly. Blood trickled down his forehead, half of his face bright black and blue, his knuckles bleeding. But he Wasnt giving up yet, it seemed.

Wolfram had no clue where the kid came from, but he Didnt care. He grabbed him by the shirt, snarling in his face."I can fight my own battles, now leave me alone!"He hissed, shoving him away and turning back to Indigo.

"Why are you bleeding?" Indigo asked, in a concerned way. "Are you ok, my powers don't hurt..."

Wolfram help back the strong urge to smack her across the face."Shut it. I got in a fight."He snarled. His whole face hurt, no....His whole body hurt, ached like nothing he had felt before.

Peter stumbled, but didn't fall. "I can see that," he muttered to no one in particular. Still staying in the same place he said, "Chill! If the cops come.. they're probably gonna arrest you! And maybe us too! Just let her leave." His voice shook.

"Let them arrest me, then! Not like I have a life!"Wolfram snarled, his eyes never leaving Indigo.

"I-I can help," Indigo whispered. It was seared in their brains now. She had been repeating it constantly. They had to listen.
She grew uncomfortable. More people were here in the park, mostly male, staring at her. She sighed. "This is what happens when we're out in the open like this..." she said.

"Shut it, woman! I'm not falling into your tricks. I've been tricked so many times before, I won't be tricked again."Wolfram hissed."All I want is the truth: Are you a part of The Pure?"

"No! The police are on our side!" Sherri said suddenly.
"Let them arrest me, then! Not like I have a life!"Wolfram snarled, his eyes never leaving Indigo.
"Don't. I need you, I want you. You are wanted." Indigo's violet eyes were huge. She knew no one probably said that to him since his mother died.
