"Oh," Sherri said. She hung up. "To River's house!"
Her mother drove her in without asking questions.
"Umm, why are there so many people?" Emily asked.
"Toby?"
Sherri saw him. She walked into the house, and Emily looked at River, question in her green eyes.

Toby tried to shrink down in his car where no one could see him, but he was spotted by Sherri. He waved at her, though inside he was cringing. So many people. They all saw me leave at the park. This is so bad. He thought. Jessi got out of the car. "Woah woah woah, Jessi what are you doing?" Toby asked and tried to grab he hand to pull her back into the car. "I'm going to hang out with my friends. Come on, it'll be fun. You might actually make a friend for once." Jessi replied.
"I have friends." Toby muttered.
"You mean the online people you play video games with? Or the people you ride with that are way older than you? I mean people in real life closer to your age."
"Thanks mom, but I'll be fine."
"Okay, at least stay here in the car until I leave, please?" Jessi asked and walked inside.

River nodded to Sherri, she turned to Emily. "To make a long story short, apparently some people wanted to take something from Wolfram, Lachlan is calling them the 'Pure' because one of them said something about pure, anyway, they attacked Wolfram and the rest of the kids started trying to get them off him, I think. I wasn't there and I haven't been able to preen everything from Lachlan." She said, merely giving the bare bones of the story.

"Hey, Sherri." Lachlan said.
Emily tried not to look concerned and nodded.
She looked at Sherri, but Sherri had already left the room. "Hi Lachlan."

"Hello, uh, Jessi," Sherri said.
Jessi and Toby. Two people with normal names for once.

"Uh, hey there, um, Rex's Kid." River muttered. Too many children. Way too many children.
Emily tried not to look concerned and nodded.
She looked at Sherri, but Sherri had already left the room. "Hi Lachlan."
(Hey, don't worry about it. I'm really busy with some stuff to)
Wolfram hated crowds. He hated being around a lot of people. He hated being around people for the most part. He glared at Camilla, his eyes glinting dangerously.
Great, now the only other adult in this house thinks I'm a terrible mom. Just great. River thought.

"Please try not to kill my cousin, she may be a jerk sometimes, but eventually she shuts up, Wolfram." Lachlan said, turning to Sherri. "Hey, Sherri. You just got here, right?"

"I'm not going to kill her."Wolfram rolled his eyes, and pushed past Sherri."Do you need help with anything, Mrs.Lonson?"He asked.

Toby watched what was happening from his car. He felt a huge wave of sympathy for River, having to deal with so many people was gonna be a nightmare. Please decide to leave, please decide to leave. Toby thought. He wanted to leave, but he knew Jessi would kill him if he did.
