(Fritz shall live. Somehow he escaped destiny and the kid crossing behind him was the one who was hit.) @ChickenCowboy02
Looking back to the whole situation, eyes wide in shock, Fritz couldn't believe what he just witnessed. He tried to process it all, but he couldn't. He could just, watch, in utter disbelief. "You're good Fritz, you're alive". He finally convinced himself to look away after the authorities dispersed and left only police tape twisting in the wind and rain remaining. Fritz looked at his phone, "5:06, Dad's gonna kill me." He made his way to the apartment him and his dad rented out for as long as Fritz could remember. It wasn't in the uppity section of town, some might even call it the "bad part", but it was all his dad could afford. Being an electrician doesn't pay much. Turning down his street the wind began to pick up and drove the rain harder against his face. But it didn't bother him, even though he hated water, he was just numb to his surroundings. Walking up the concrete steps, he stomped his boots on the doormat, it hit him,
He just witnessed someone die.
He stood in the pouring rain for a moment, trying to collect himself before he faced his father. Opening the door, Fritz's father, Breyer, stood there looking down on him.
"It's 5:30. Where were you?", Breyer asked. "I... I was in the park.", Fritz responded nervously. "I hope he hasn't seen the news yet."
"I made dinner, you're favorite, beef barley soup. It's probably cold by now though.", Breyer said easing his gaze. "I'm not really hungry...", mumbled Fritz. "Are you sure about that?", questioned Breyer. "Um, yeah...", said Fritz. He swallowed nervously, hoping Breyer wouldn't notice how nervous he was. "Son, what's wrong?", Breyer further questioned, blocking the stairwell. "Nothing, dad.", Fritz protested, getting visibly ticked off. "You can talk to me, what's wrong?", Breyer asked, walking closer to Fritz. "Nothing, dad! Nothing is wrong!", Fritz yelled. He ducked under his father's arm, but before he could make a getaway to the sanctuary of his room Breyer grabbed the back of his shirt. With a sudden flash of intense heat, the handrail he was holding on to burnt to a crisp, barely missing his father. Breyer glanced at the charred handrail, then listened to the smoke alarms beeping and the family dog, Nash, barking at all the commotion. "Go to your room...", Breyer sighed, slowly turning away to clean up his son's mess. An emotional trainwreck, Fritz walked up to his room, locked the door, and sat down on his bed. Today had been awful and he just wanted it to be over. He pulled out his phone to see no notifications, as usual. He tried to look up articles from what happened at the park... "No connection? Dad must've turned off the WiFi..." Giving up facing the pain of the day, Fritz laid down to close his eyes and felt sleep's silent bliss creeping closer.

Maryella put her face close to her kitties nose an adoring look in her eyes as she scratched his chin. Both trinkets were worth far more than what she had, but she wasn't about to tell them that.
"Hmm, i wonder what you would even do with that information any way. I mean what can a couple of kids do to a movement like that." She gave Sandy one more treat and closed the container. She pulled herself around and put out her hand.
Alice was unsure which she wanted. She looked over at Brissa, she actually wouldn't mind having that bracelet. The idea of some one being able to control you with out you even noticing was horrifying. She wasn't even sure she wanted to know anything else about the pure. Maybe they'd never see them again. but if they did, then the should learn everything they could.
"Here, take mine." she said slipping the necklace off over her head.

Maryella took it and smiled. "Both." she said nodding toward the bracelet.
Brisa sighed and began to hand it over, then paused. "You really need both of these highly valuable jewelry items just for a couple folders of information?" She asked, hoping that she could figure out a way for her and Alice to keep their possessions. Maybe she had something less valuable that might work for both of these things? Reaching into her pockets again, she came up with two nice ballpoint pens with strange engravings on them. "Um, these can be used for communication at any distance." At least my weird habit of buying random useless items might come in handy. She thought ruefully.

(Ooh. She must be so insensitive not to think that.)
Sherri looked shocked.
After all that had happened today, and this? "Mom," she said, nose to nose with her mother, holding her face with her green eyes locked on her mother's. "I'm being serious. Let me go see my friends. I want to be sure they are ok."
She knew her mother would be too protective, not let her go.
"Ok, fine, I'll drive you," said her mom, pale, lined face set with grim determination. She understood her daughter would want to make sure her friends would be ok, and not knowing what had happened at the park meant it could be anything at all.
"But I'll drive you. I don't want you to do anything rash."
"Me, rash?" Sherri snorted and blew hair off her face. "Never."
Sherri ran down the apartment stairs to the car.
Her mother was closely behind and soon the car was smoothly driving down rain-soaked streets.
It was already dark because of impeding winter. The headlights lit the fog perfectly because of like new technology and stuff.
Sherri remembered she didn't know where her friends were. Fortunately, the car had built in WiFi and phone service, so she pulled out the little phone and called Brisa. Almost. She realized the girl may not have noticed what happened (plus the time switch puts her behind everyone.)
She decided to call a boy instead, if she had their number. Hmmm. Mrs. Fluer had some boys. She wondered if she would mind some random person telling her they are coming to their house. Maybe if her boys recognized Sherri. If they even knew her.
Too many 'ifs' and 'maybes.'
Well, she might try...
She pressed River's face. Her mother was friends with Mrs. Fluer.

River's face was bland as her phone began to ring. Sherri... Lastless. Emily's kid. Ergh, she better not have someone point a gun to her head or something. She thought.
She answered.
"Hello. This is River Loson. To whom am I speaking to?" She said.

Her voice sounded afraid.

"Emily's kid. Been awhile since I talked to y'all. Um, sure, why not. Come on over." She replied. "Yeah, they're here... Why?" River said quizzically.

(Ooops I didn't finish it do you have the boys there.)

"Umm, I was kind of worried for them. Can I go to your house? I need to talk to them about something..."

(Oh, *edits*)
"Sure. And I already know about the fight. I think I need to get off. Someone just pulled into my driveway." River said, peering out her door window at Toby's truck.

"Oh," Sherri said. She hung up. "To River's house!"
Her mother drove her in without asking questions.
"Umm, why are there so many people?" Emily asked.
"Toby?"
Sherri saw him. She walked into the house, and Emily looked at River, question in her green eyes.
