«We Could Be Legends»

"I know what a key is." she growled. "What I meant was does it make you think of a specific company? Because maybe they have a copy of the key. Or could make one."
Alice folded the piece of paper, intend to stuff it in her pocket but she didn't want it wet, so she just held it instead.
"Hmm. I always imagined a fancy old key, but if Maryella included it..."
Sherri pulled out a soggy, sticky piece of paper with some hair in it out of her waistband. It had a slightly blotted number, but Indigo Alan, Enchantress, was still legible.
"I kept this when no one else did. I think that was pretty foolish of me now." She set it on the coffee table beside all the stuff. A mystery of its own.

Jessi bolted up & outside. "Come on Toby, we're talking about the park." She said and pulled him out of the car. "Noooo." Toby complained. He frowned as he was dragged into the living room. Alpha followed curiously. Jessi sat back down and pulled Toby down next to her. Alpha laid on the floor by Toby's feet.

"They did?" This was news for Sherri. Emily was still in the kitchen.
She walked in and peered at the papers, and her heart skipped a beat.
"Doing some research," Sherri explained.
"River, mind if I make dinner?" Emily pretended to be unfazed.
"I know the best thing to calm teenagers down is food." (Truth)
River turned to Emily. "Sure, let me help you."

Lachlan edged away from his mother. "Yeah, you didn't know?"

Sherri and Emily screeched simultaneously and jumped back on the couch. "Dog!"
River turned to Emily. "Sure, let me help you."

Lachlan edged away from his mother. "Yeah, you didn't know?"
Emily got down from the couch and self consciously straightened the folds in her skirt. "Lasagna?" She asked. "Where do you keep those pasta things?"

Wolfram hoped, more then anything, that they would find out what this key was."Hey, Brisa, if you see. Picture of a woman with half black, half light orange hair, and with green eyes, and cat ears, please let me know.
(is this a description of his mom or mapleshade?)

Sherri and Emily screeched simultaneously and jumped back on the couch. "Dog!"

River looked at them funny as they jumped on the couch. "You do know I'm a wolf, right?"

River nodded. "This way." She walking into a kitchen, pulling out some pasta out of a cabinet.

Toby jumped, and then sighed. "This is why I try to avoid people interaction, because they have tendency to scream randomly." He hissed at Jessi. He looked at Emily and Sherri. "Alpha isn't going to attack you, even if you tug at his tail." Toby said. He was kinda freaking out inside, because he was sitting in a room full of people he embarrassed himself in front of. He nervously glanced around the room. Nobody bring it up, nobody bring it up. He pleaded silently.
