Wolfram hissed at her."I don't know, idiot! It takes to much energy for me to shift right now anyway."He hissed."If you shift, is your paw uninjured?" Sherri asked. "I know some shifters can do that, I personally can't, but some can..."

Wolfram hissed at her."I don't know, idiot! It takes to much energy for me to shift right now anyway."He hissed."If you shift, is your paw uninjured?" Sherri asked. "I know some shifters can do that, I personally can't, but some can..."
Sherri shrugged apologetically. She had never lost energy in shifting. She also had no good abilities for fighting, like claws. She was glad for that now, considering Wolfram had accidentally cut himself very deeply.Wolfram hissed at her."I don't know, idiot! It takes to much energy for me to shift right now anyway."He hissed.
"This way." River said, turning around and walking up the stairs. She walked down the hall and opened a white door. "This is the guest bedroom."Wolfram leaned against the wall, his anger simmering down, only a bit, though."You couldn't be more right...."He sighed, flexing his injured hand slowly. It Wasnt broken, thankfully."I guess..."He mumbled half-heartedly, shrugging. He didn't care at this point. He glanced at Bleddyn for a minute, a glimmer of hope flickering in his eyes.No...He looked away quickly, hoping River didn't see. He wouldn't let himself fall for anyone, ANYONE! He wasn't that weak. Or are you?
"Thanks River."Wolfram threw his backpack, which he had picked up on the way to the bedroom, onto the bed. He glanced at River, torn between curling up and sobbing, or strangling something to death. He pulled the note from his mother out of the bag."Why is Mapleshade like this?! What is driving her? What is making her so bloodthirsty she would go as far as killing her own friends son?" He looked at River, knowing she couldn't answer those questions."And who exactly killed my mother?""This way." River said, turning around and walking up the stairs. She walked down the hall and opened a white door. "This is the guest bedroom."
Sherri heard it with her great hearing abilities and accidentally blurted. "I'd do it if it didn't mean death for me." She hoped Wolf hadn't heard her."Thanks River."Wolfram threw his backpack, which he had picked up on the way to the bedroom, onto the bed. He glanced at River, torn between curling up and sobbing, or strangling something to death. He pulled the note from his mother out of the bag."Why is Mapleshade like this?! What is driving her? What is making her so bloodthirsty she would go as far as killing her own friends son?" He looked at River, knowing she couldn't answer those questions."And who exactly killed my mother?"
River bit her lip. She didn't know the answers, she was truly as confused as he was. "I don't know the answers to those questions, Silver was always so kind to me... Always excepted me. I don't understand how anyone could hurt her." She paused. "But I think power drives Mapleshade. Something like that... Revenge, I don't know. I don't know who killed your mother, Wolf. I would think the Pure. Whoever they are...""Thanks River."Wolfram threw his backpack, which he had picked up on the way to the bedroom, onto the bed.
"Wow, Sherri. Just wow." Lachlan muttered.Sherri heard it with her great hearing abilities and accidentally blurted. "I'd do it if it didn't mean death for me." She hoped Wolf hadn't heard her.
Sherri shamefully blushed. "I mean really, that's what she'd do, not me, I mean, she would. Or I would, if I was some kind of villain or something...""Wow, Sherri. Just wow." Lachlan muttered.
Lachlan gave a half hearted chuckle at her awkwardness. "Yeah, but good think I don't think he heard you."Sherri shamefully blushed. "I mean really, that's what she'd do, not me, I mean, she would. Or I would, if I was some kind of villain or something..."
"Yeah, hopefully," Sherri mumbled. "If I had human ears, I probably wouldn't have picked up their conversation if I wasn't eavesdropping." More awkwardness. She was sorta eavesdropping.Lachlan gave a half hearted chuckle at her awkwardness. "Yeah, but good think I don't think he heard you."
