«We Could Be Legends»

Emily took the lasagna out of the oven. Like any normal teenager, Sherri came running. "Food!" She shouted. "Lasagna! Is it ready yet?"
"Not yet," said Emily. "It still has to cool."
As the smell wafted into her nose, Sherri suddenly felt very hungry and couldn't wait. She ran up stairs to the boys. "Dinners ready!"

"Don't you dare apologize. You've been through more in the last few days probably than I have in my life." Lachlan said, and paused. "If you want to come back down, I think we are about to eat. It's lasagna if you like that."
Lachlan walked over to the kitchen and living-room dividing counter were his mother and Emily were. "Is the lasagna almost done?" He asked.
"Almost." River said.

Finlay pricked up, walking out of his room. "Uh, hey Sherri. I didn't know dinner was being made." He said.

Wolfram followed Lachlan."Oh wow, that smells really good."He murmured.

Wolfram chuckled softly.""Well, lets hope it does, because it smells amazing"
"Glad you appreciate it," Sherri said. The lasagna magically cools in two minutes.
Emily deliberately cut out the pieces and carefully put them on plates. "Italian. I can't handle all that spicy Mexican stuff."
"Me neither." Sherri almost touched hers with a fork, then silently said grace under her breath.
And let it all be ok, she thought. She wasn't really sure what was to be ok. As the last person was served, she shoveled lasagna into her mouth.

Wolfram shrugged."I love Mexican food."He sat down, and ate some, but hardly any. Not that it Wasnt good, he just didn't fell like eating.

"Are you gonna eat that?" Sherri said between bites.
"Anyways," Emily said, glaring at her daughter. "Dinnertime is for discussion. I want you all to tell me one highlight and one lowlight from today."
Sherri blushed and turned all respectful, setting her fork on the plate and chewing slowly.

Lachlan said grace under his breath also, then looked up. His mother gave him the hot sauce. "Oh, thanks Mom." He said, putting some on, and sat beside Wolfram, River sitting on Lachlan's other side.
Finlay came downstairs, getting a plate and sitting beside River.
