«We Could Be Legends»

"Run," meowed Sherri. With suicidal decision, she bolted toward the open door and the Pure in attempt to escape, while Emily's thought was still in the station. Did she just do?
"Daughter!" She cried. Not wanting to be called a bad mother, she ran out in human form.

Knowing she was an enchantress, she didn't bother using enchantment on her. "They think I do." She flashed a brilliant smile through full red lips.
Most of the crowd looked confused, less bent on death, but more focused on her, and still a little bent on death. Then a cat came. Followed by a cat woman.
Mapleshade lunged forward, grabbing Sherri, and throwing her to two guards, who raised a dart gun at Emily.

"Oh her?"Wolfram said, a just barely audible snarl from him becoming louder."That is Mapleshade. She thinks she's the boss of everyone. And her hair? No clue." "GET THEM!"Mapleshade snarled, eyes glittering."Alright lets go get her pathetic face out of this house."Wolfram growled, finding the knife Lachlan gave him still in his sweatshirt pocket."Why don't you get us yourself, Coward?!" He instantly regretted ever letting those words leave his mouth. With in seconds, Mapleshade was looming over them, with a equally as terrifying knife in her hand.
Indigo was a weak fighter, but she had at least some training, without much thought, she decided to do a back attack, throwing a punch to the back of her head and trying to knock the knife out of her hand.

(Nuuuu this needs to happen for plot convientiant reasons)

(She doesn't actually knock the knife out of her hand. And is a weak fighter. So Mapleshade could probably fight her back.)
"What made you leader anyways?" Indigo stood behind her.

"I get my way, if they like it or not."Malpleshade hissed.

Wolfram stared, petrified. His hand with the knife trembled wildly. Wolfram wasn't afraid of much, but Mapleshade terrified him.

"Seems like a lot of people I know." Like myself. "Why are you frozen there, cat-boy? Petrified. Run if you value your life," Indigo muttered. "I'll deal with this kitty." Uncertainty, considering she had horrible training, but this time she wasn't in heels. She kicked. "Gonna act?"

Lachlan jumped at her. No she doesn't! Something hit his chest midair, bringing him down. It buzzed against his fur and skin. He shifted to a human to rip it off him, and did so.
He stood back up, and paused, straining himself. "What..." His hair didn't change to fur. No muzzle grew from his face. No claws appeared, no tail.
He couldn't shift.

The newbie soldier grinned under his mask. The fake had worked, the boy had gotten annoyed and took it off-- and was now human, and Newbie let off the anti-shift into the air. For a the moment being, any shifter in the house was stuck as is. Man, they need a real name for this stuff.

Lachlan reached for his knife, but froze. I gave it to Wolfram. He charged the soldier, punching his in the face and swiping his legs from underneath him.

Taking advantage of her current state of insignificance, Bleddyn darted over to the stove and swiped a gleaming pan. She brandished it wildly as Mapleshade threw Sherri to one of her henchmen, silently pleading that Emily didn't do something stupid while under the influence of maternal rage. "Hey, Cruella de Vil!"

She brandished it wildly as Mapleshade threw Sherri to one of her henchmen, wishing crazily that Emily didn't do something stupid while under the influence of maternal rage. "Hey, Cruella de Vil!"

"I'm not scared of either of you!"Wolfram snarled, and flinched away when Mapleshade loomed closer.

~

"Yes you are, sweetheart."Mapleshade hissed, hooking a sharp, claw like nail under his chin, her eyes dark."Do you see this knife?"She said softly, glancing at the glittering blade, before back to him."I'm going to kill you with it. Just like I did your pathetic mother!" Mapleshade let out a snarling laugh that echoed through the house.

~

Wolfram stared at her, his breath catching in his throat. Suddenly he let out a shriek, surging upward."NO!!!" He slammed Mapleshade to the ground."I can't believe you!"He snarled, raising the knife. Then, a agonizing pain shot through his shoulder, his vision swimming, the knife falling out of his hand. I've been shot with a dart....
