«We Could Be Legends»

"That's smart." Jessi said. "I had to go before it got super dark. I don't feel comfortable flying alone in the dark, even though I could take on anyone who would be stupid enough to mess with me. I guess I could've called Toby to pick me up, but where's the fun in that?" Her heels clicked on the driveway. "No I don't, though I think I might've seen him at school."
"Oh. Well, yeah, that's probably where I saw him too. Cute dog, though." She turned away and began to head back up the driveway. "So what do you think of all this? It's all so strange. It doesn't seem to make any sense."
(My creative juices are flowing slowly... :p )

"I don't know. I might have left it alone but they were messing with people I knew. That makes it personal." Jessi looked at Fritz's dog. "It is cute. Not as cute as Alpha, & probably not as well behaved. No dog is as good as Alpha. Do you have any pets?" She asked. She got to the door and knocked.

(Hey, your dog is horrible, Fritz)

(Sorry I didn't answer sooner, bedtime routine :) )
"Nope. I wish I did, though. I had a goldfish in third grade that jumped out of his own bowl, but, I mean, other than that... I do really want a dog, though. A Great Pyrenees. But we don't have enough land and he'd bark and wake up all the neighbors, so I can't. Not to mention that they're huge and aren't necessarily that easy to train, so..." She trailed off, smiling. "That won't happen. I saw Alpha last night, though. He did seem sweet. He's your brother's service dog, right? What does he do?"

"Aw, Great Pyrenees are really cute. It would take some work, but if you start early you could train it to not bark." Jessi said. "Yeah, he's my brothers service dog. He's a real sweetie. I mean Alpha, not Toby. Well, Toby can be sweet. Er- I don't think he would like me telling you that, sorry. A few things he does though is bring Toby his medication, & helps him calm down in stressful situations. I don't know what else I can say without it getting really personal."

"Oh, yeah, of course. He seems like a really good dog." Brisa replied, hoping River was home.
('Night all! Sorry for the short post, I'm tired. :p )

Nash slipped out of Fritz's hands, almost as if he hated being called a good boy, and darted across the street to Brisa wagging his tail and jumping. Fritz rushed over and regained control over him. "Heh, sorry about that. He really like new people.", Fritz said, reaching down to pet Nash.

  • There was something very wrong here. She could no longer ignore that his words were influenced by the empathy that only comes from the endurance of the same miseries.
She flung wild eyes onto his, suddenly unable to take and refute any more of this.
"Well, don't care, okay?! Just don't!" The crazed cry was panicked, something intelligible born of her earlier frantic pleas for freedom. "Let's go back to enemies who just don't."
"Please." Her loaded demands died off into a desperate whisper, her brow furrowing hard as she struggled to reign herself back into guarded composure.

The blackness was everywhere now, biting at the heels of the last fragments of light in her vision and herding them out of reach. Bleddyn no longer had reason to resist it- in fact, she couldn't wait to go. She let her eyes shut hard this time, hurrying her escape.
Then she was falling, falling into the liberating night created by her head.
Wolfram snarled. Not a snarl of anger, or pain. A loud, primal snarl of frusteration. He flung his hand's out in front of him, revealing the pale skin of the underside of his arms. Instead of pale, smooth skin, they where covered in scars."Do you see these?!"He snarled. His arms and hand trembled, this time not from cold."I know how it feels, Bleddyn! You don't understand that for once in my life I'm trying to HELP!"He gritted his teeth, jerking his arms away from her."I can't help but care."He hissed."Bleddyn?"Now he panicked, even more then before."Bleddyn!?"His voice was shrill, fear on the edges of his voice. I can't help but care....

"But your not now, and she's going to die to!"He whimpered aloud.

Jessi turned to Fritz. "Hi! Your dog is really cute. Can I pet him?" Jessi asked.
