«We Could Be Legends»

"I don't mind."Wolfram replied, shrugging. Then, realizing what he said, his eyes went wide."I uh...I mean..,I have to uh...Oh I think Toby's calling me...or Lachlan or uh...someone... Um..." He took a few unsteady steps backward, doing anything to avoid her gaze.

Vanessa let out a soft snort of amusement at Wolfram's horrified gaze."You're fine. Now if you can managed to stay on your feet, come here. Or Wolfram might have to carry you."She gave a shrug, Wolfrm's going even wider.

Jessi glanced at Brisa. "We could always go to my house. My parents are never home." She offered. "Or we could go straight to the bank, though I think we need a plan first."
"That sounds good," Brisa replied. "What do you guys think?" She asked the others. "Also, we might be kind of vulnerable at the bank. Whatever this is, it seems extremely valuable and important. Pure seemed to appear from nowhere last time, and I would hate to be caught unawares."

(BTW, I've been watching clips from the 2005 Pride and Prejudice movie, and this little Wolfdyn thing seems extra adorable at the moment. P&P is just so wonderfully romantic! *cries tears of joy* )
(I'm just going to say they are going to Jessi's house first.)

Jessi drove through the town until they reached a house. She parked in the driveway and got out of the car. The house was a large, two story white house, with floor to ceiling windows. There was a small trail that lead to the side of the house, which had lots of large trees. Jessi lead them inside, and the house looked like it was brand new. Almost everything was white or dark brown. "Welcome to my house. Well, technically it's my moms, but I live here sometimes. Make yourself comfortable."
"Thanks! It's quite nice, unless you're looking for something more homily." Jessi said, and then clapped loudly. "Okay! What's the plan?"
"Cool house," Grace said, collapsing on a couch and leaning back. She almost put her feet on the table, but decided not to at the last second. "Sooo..." she fiddled with a scrap of paper found in her jean pocket. "Anyone know an adult that won't think we're crazy?"

Alice hesitantly followed Jessi inside. The only people she could think of calling in the car were her mom, or the police. Neither of which she wanted to call. She was barely in the door before Jessi shouted right in front of her.

Alice sighed, "My mom won't think we're crazy, but she also won't let us do anything if she finds out what we're up to. The only thing I can think of that might work, is to rob the bank. But we aren't exactly bank robbers, that is crazy."

"Same for my mom." Brisa sighed. "Aunt River or Aunt Misty would just take over and do this whole thing for us." She pulled back a chair and sat, smoothing her skirt absentmindedly. They're out, Mom's out, Emily's definitely out because she probably would think that we're crazy. "Do we know any adult, even, who might help us that we can trust not to tell our parents?" She asked, glancing up at the others.

Brisa glanced at Jessi, hearing the sadness in her voice, and glanced away. What have we gotten ourselves into? She asked herself.
(Sorry for the short post.)

Alice's eyes darted between the two girls.
"Help us?" She swallowed nervously, "you mean, we're actually going to try to rob the bank? There's gotta be another way." She looked over at Camilla for any suggestions. Then to Grace and then Peter. She barely knew the others, maybe robbing the bank was a normal thing for them. "Maybe, we need to decide what to do with it when we get it first. We don't dont even know what it is. The key guy thinks it's dangerous. The pure are willing to kill and kidnap to get it. Maybe we should just leave it where it is." Alice frowned and looked down at the floor pensively, rain water had dripped off her jacket and was starting to pool on the tile. "How are we going to get everyone back?" She asked her voice quieter. She shut her eyes trying not to cry, remembering the blood all over the place at Rivers. "Maybe they aren't even alive anymore."
