«We Could Be Legends»

Toby glanced at her. He didn't know how long she was standing out there. "Never thought I would see you hanging out in the cold rain, throwing rocks in water, especially since these rocks are muddy." He said blankly.
"I don't like the rain, but I always threw rocks in the water as a kid. Why should I change? I know its scary to think of me as a kid. Just think of all the cookies I'd get from begging." Indigo smiled wryly.

"I love rain." Toby paused. "You must've been a very spoiled kid." He said, half jokingly.

Bleddyn snorted, unconvinced, and began messing with the new bandage- the only material whatsoever on her left leg, but already irritating her. "So are we finally ready to blow this shady popsicle stand?"
Wolfram bent down, grabbing ahold of her wrist, pulling it away from the bandage."Don't mess with it. I know it's probably not comfterble, but the more you mess with it, the more likely it'll come undone."He straightened up, quickly letting go of her hand."I'm ready if you are."

"Okay." Brisa pressed the small phone icon on her screen and sat there looking at River's smiling face as she listened to the dial tone.
River grabbed her phone, signalling to Leona to stop talking while she talked, and stepped back into a corner away from the others. "Yes? Brisa, good to know you've survived."

"I love rain." Toby paused. "You must've been a very spoiled kid." He said,
half jokingly.
"I sure wish. Remember, enchantress kid, enchantress mom..." Indigo frowned and grew distant. "Dad, never knew him. Didn't seem like he was all that great anyway."
She laughed.

Bleddyn gave him a sour look. "I can mess with my wounds all I want, Dogsheep."
To prove her point, she carelessly pressed one of her right fingernails into a dried wound on her left arm, bringing fresh blood to the surface.

River grabbed her phone, signalling to Leona to stop talking while she talked, and stepped back into a corner away from the others. "Yes? Brisa, good to know you've survived."
Brisa turned River to speakerphone and glanced at Jessi before replying. "Hi, Aunt River. We were wondering if you and the others were all okay."

"I sure wish. Remember, enchantress kid, enchantress mom..." Indigo frowned and grew distant. "Dad, never knew him. Didn't seem like he was all that great anyway."
She laughed.

"When are dad's ever good?" Toby asked, throwing another rock into the water.
