«We Could Be Legends»

"Pathetic." River snarled after him, lashing her tail and pinning her ears. "Lachlan, go deal with your friend! I'm going to finish this up so we can get out of this cursed place!" She growled ruthlessly at her son. "And if he doesn't get his guts together, he is not staying anywhere near us, hear it? Go wait in the car, I'll be coming soon!" She growled, raising the phone back to her ear and turning her back on Lachlan.
~
Lachlan sighed, slumping his body. Really, Wolfram? Ergh, now I have to sit with Mr. I'm-mad-at-everyone-pants. He turned on his heels, walking out the door and through the mud. He jerked the door open, and slid in the car next to Wolfram. "Before you start yelling at me with your accusations, I'm just here because my mother is making me, okay?!"
Wolfram snarled at Lachlan, flinching away from him defensively."Stay away from me!"He snarled."I don't care what your mother says!" Just get away I want to be alone!

Lachlan didn't even look at Wolfram, shutting his eyes and putting his head in his hands as a migraine started to batter his mind. "Guess what? I don't care. I'm not going to even talk to you, we're leaving in a second so I'm just waiting. Honestly, I don't want to talk either." He growled, his voice taking on a shattering edge. One of his hands slid down to grasp at his stab wound, feeling the blood seeping into the bandage.

Wolfram growled softly, but couldn't help glancing at Lachlan's stab wound."Are you ok?"He growled, not as harsh as earlier, but still had a snap to his tone.

"I'm fine!" Lachlan muttered harshly for him, growling silently under his breath. "Just a migraine and stupid cut... Acting up." He uttered a little gentler, his tone slightly slurred. "Why does everyone keep asking if I'm okay? Go ask someone else if they're okay. I'm shot or something."

Wolfram frowned slightly, and hesitantly reached his hand out, putting it gently on Lachlan's shoulder."Sorry you're in pain, Lach."He murmured, his voice much gentler then it was before.

(That... Was suppose to say 'I'm NOT shot or something'. XD)

Toby sighed, and looked up at the sky. He closed his eyes, feeling the rain pouring on his face. He looked at Alpha, who was looking cold and miserable. "I'm sorry, Alpha. Let's go inside, out of the rain." Toby slowly stood up, and shivered. He walked inside, and leaned against the wall, petting Alpha. "When are we leaving?" He asked River.

Indigo leaned against the wall with a scowl.

River flicked her eyes to him, before turning and marching to him, handing him the phone. "It's your sister, she wants to talk to you. Afterwards, we'll go."
