«We Could Be Legends»

Jessi sighed and grabbed a broom to sweep up the broken glass. "Hopefully mom doesn't notice we're missing a few plates." She looked around at the others. "I'm sorry what happened, I should've been able to tolerate being called a dragon, but it's one of the few things that really triggers me." She looked into the living room and saw Alpha asleep on the sofa, snoring peacefully. "Alpha, go find Toby." She said, and Alpha ran upstairs to the Room Toby was in. She walked back to the kitchen and grabbed another plate and a piece of pizza. "I'm going to eat all of this unless you guys hurry up." She said, and sat down at the table.

Bleddyn had her back pressed to the bathroom door, ready to become a human doorjam if for some reason the lock decided to yield to an intruder. Audible commotion had broken out downstairs; it didn't take a genius to realize the awaited bruised crew had arrived.

Which meant Wolfram was here.

But according to her enamored nostrils, so was pizza.
And that was a pretty dang irresistible aphrodisiac.

Internally conflicted beyond toleration, she opened up her call log and tapped on Finlay's icon until she was delivered at their very dormant text chat. She typed up a message, pleased to find her pruney fingers had finally returned to typical smoothness.
Hey, um, is there any way I could get downstairs without coming in contact with crazy cat dude?

*** waaaay back when Lachlan sat next to Alice and asked if she was ok: ***
"You know what? I actually agree with you." Lachlan said, grinning in amusement. He glanced around to pinpoint where everyone was exactly, noticing that Jessi, Brisa, Finlay, and Camilla were taring into four cheese and pepperoni pizzas. He swung his head around, having caught sight of a whimpering form on the couch, wincing as he saw Alice curled into a ball under a cover, whimpering. He edged closer to her. "You okay?" He muttered, before River began talking over him.
"Lachlan, Wolfram, you two should go grab some pizza with the others. You two look like you're starving."

Alice lifted her head a desperate and confused look on her face. "I don't know. I- I think so." she whispered.

"Oh yes, of course I would agree." Lachlan snickered, glancing at River. "I'm going to go grab some food, I'll uh, be back." He muttered, before scrambling over to the pizza and happily digging into a piece.

River glanced at Wolfram, cocking an eyebrow. "Suit yourself, Wolfram. Starving is always fun." She said sarcastically, flicking her eyes over to Alice, but not saying a word to her niece.

Wolfram stared at him hard, somehow the shadow's not scaring him at all."I would love to." He snarled. He sounded as if he would actually do it, his grip on Toby tightening. His eyes blazed with a glimmer of sheer insanity and rage, and....bloodlust. He let out a primal snarl, moving his hands towards Toby's neck, as if he where going to snap it. What am I doing?! He let go of Toby's neck, slamming a brutal punch to the other boys nose, and suddenly staggered backward, panting. Yet his eyes still held rage and the will to fight. No, not to fight. To kill.

Alice watched the boys fight, she almost jumped to her feet ready to start throwing punches herself, when Wolfram said he'd be willing to kill someone who just rescued him. But the sudden vicious snarl from Wolfram followed by a hard punch to Toby's face stopped her. She stared wide eyed at them horrified. Her missing memories suddenly snapping back into place.

(there that solves the problem of why she'd be "sobbing" on the couch. I'll try to respond at some point again tomorrow night if more happens.)
