«We Could Be Legends»

"I think they look really cool. I'd love to have violet eyes." She shrugged. Sighing when she heard Wolfram's words, she glanced at the door. "I better be leaving then, I won't bother you anymore..."

"I seriously doubt that. Due to my eyes being not normal - and other reasons - my face was always a matching shade of purple in school." Toby grumbled.

She nodded and walked toward the door. "I'll be fine."
"Can I come?!" Taylor asked, prancing up to them. "Where are you going?"

Wolfram sighed, rolling his eyes. "Ask Alice, not me. I'm just driving." He walked towards the door, opening it slowly.
Taylor glanced at Alice hopefully. "Please? If you run into any trouble I'll be good help."

Alice shrugged. "Sure, if you want." She looked Taylor up and down. "It's kind of, rough terrain. If you think you can keep up."

Toby walked into the room. "What are you guys doing?" He asked curiously.
"Uh, we're going out to the old inhuman city, outside town. I was thinking that maybe we could use one of the healing crystals from there to make it so the Pure couldn't use the key." Alice shrugged again. "You can come if you want."

"Oh, the place that has the bugs? The healing bugs? Rex used to talk about that place a lot." Toby said, his eyes sparkling with excitement. His face fell. "No, that probably wouldn't be smart. I'd just get in the way." He said.

Taylor stretched her long, slender legs gracefully. "I'll be fine." She replied. She turned to Toby. "Come on!"

Toby glanced between them. "Okay, fine." He said casually, but a hint of excitement was noticeable in his voice. "Who's car are we taking?" He asked.

"Yes, well, you never know." Taylor shrugged. She tilted her head slightly, green eyes glittering. "Well, I'll leave you alone then. Gotta go give Wolfram a what for, I came here for something and he's not giving it to me." She spun on her heel, walking slowly towards Wolfram. She looked over her shoulder at Toby one last time, eyes glittering curiously, before coming up behind Wolfram, a low growl in her throat.

Wolfram was very unconvinced with her fake smile. Sighing, he nodded. "Taylor! Leave Toby alone, stop nagging him. I'll tell you about the key soon, I promise. I have to help Alice with something. We'll be back as soon as we can be." He looked back at Alice, the same determination on his face. "Alright lets do this then. Are you sure you're going to be ok?"
River watched the others with dull interest, her head cocked slightly. "I'm coming too, and if you don't want me to, guess what, I'm still coming." She muttered, pushing off the wall and walking towards the door.

"Mine." Wolfram answered Toby. "I'll get us there the fastest." He added, earning a groan from Taylor.
He looked over at River. "Good. We'll need you." He pushed open the door, stepping outside, and was instantly greeted by a cool breeze.
