«We Could Be Legends»

"It doesn't make sense!" Wolfram hissed, the sharp teeth of the key digging into his palm. He let out a seething breath, glancing back at River and Jenna. "Lets just...do this, then..."

River stood at his side, discreetly glancing around at the fancy bank, eyeing everyone in it and sizing them up on whether or not they could end up being threats. "Uh, Brisa, when you spoke to Tom-- Ugh... The one at the key-shop, did he mention the box number?"

Brisa shook her head. “No, he didn’t.”

Wolfram hissed, a noise that sounded very much cat, and very little human. "Wonderful. Another road block. Exactly what we need." He glanced out the window, as if expecting Mapleshade to show up at any second.

Jenna looked between them. She knew they probably couldn't try random boxes to see which one was the right one.

“I guess... do we just ask someone to show us the box under your mom’s name?” Brisa suggested tentatively. I know nothing about how banks work...

"Umm...maybe? River?" Wolfram looked at River, wincing at his little knowledge of banks. I'm a adult, I should really know how these things work by now.

"They're not going to let us look at it just because we were her friends and family. We need to think of a way we could get to it." Jenna said, but the only thing she could think of is if Indigo enchanted the people, and she didn't think the others would like that idea.
“Not even if we have the key?” Brisa asked hopefully, already knowing the answer.

"Doubtful. They don't know if we somehow stole it. We need a death certificate, and proof Wolfram is her son, then it might work." Jenna said.
Wolfram rolled his eyes, and was tempted to throw the metal key at her head. I wonder if it's heavy enough to knock some sense into her. He mused over the thought, before deciding ultimately that throwing it wasn't the best idea. "Well what are we going to do then? I don't have a death certificate right now, Jenna. And certaintly I don't have proof on hand that I'm her son at the moment."
