«We Could Be Legends»

Jenna followed them out of the bank. She didn't like how they seemed to celebrate early. It wasn't over until they destroyed the key.
Jessi froze. "Oh come on, seriously, cat? Can't you just leave us alone for once? You know if you open the key, you will die. If you want to die so bad, take that gun you're holding, turn it around, and shoot yourself." She snarled at Mapleshade. My scales are bulletproof, so if I turn into a wyvern I can block a lot of the bullets and take her out. She thought.

"Mapleshade..." Wolfram faced her, eyes glowering. She had a gun in her hand, pointed directly at Brisa, whilst the others crept out of the bushes with stundart guns. "You love to choose the most open places to attack, don't you?"
"Mhm, I suppose I do." She sneered, slinking up to him with delicate steps. "Now, here's the deal, alright? Hand over the Key, and no one gets hurt." She tilted her head, pursed her lips slightly, and spoke in the most innocent, yet somehow most deadly, voice. "Deal?"
"Hmm...how about no?" Wolfram shrugged. "I mean, I rather not give it up. Kinda important to me."
"Here's the deal, Little Wolf. You give me that, and you and your precious sidekicks get off unscathed. Oh wait," she let out a laugh that made Wolfram's blood freeze, "they'll die anyway. Even more painfully, I do have to say. So..." She slunk close to him, her single green eye glittering malevolently. "What's the deal?"

Brisa blinked away her heat vision and looked at the gun being pointed at her, her brain struggling to comprehend what was happening. I could try to knock it away from her. I know how to shoot, if I can get my hands on it I’ll have a chance. But are my powers strong enough for me to act that quickly? Oh goodness, they’ll have to be. But what if she orders her men to shoot? Brisa squeezed her eyes shut, then opened them as she made a decision. Sending out her powers, she took control of Mapleshade’s hand, slowly forcing her to turn the gun back towards herself.

"Stupid child. I knew you were to smart. You're just like your fool of a mother." Mapleshade hissed to Wolfram.
"My mother was a force to be reckoned with, Mapleshade!" Wolfram snapped.
It wasn't until then did Mapleshade realized she was slowly turning the gun to herself, and she dropped it, kicking it back into the leg of one of her men. "Well, well, well." She purred, changing course and stalked up to Brisa. "Strong little thing, aren't you?" She cooed, hooking a claw like nail under Brisa's chin, and tilting it up slightly. "And such a pretty little thing to. Shame I'm going to have to kill you." She grinned, revealing sharp teeth. She looked up at the rest of the group, her singular eye scanning the group, resting on Wolfram. "What're you going to do, Little Wolf?"
"Let her go, Mapleshade. You have no reason to harm her." Wolfram hissed.
"Oh I have every reason." She turned to him slowly. She nodded at her men. "Grab him." She ordered.
Two men came forward and snatched him, forcing him forward when he stood board stiff. They held him in place in front of her, his face emotionless except for the fury of rage.
"I'm going to get what I want now," she purred, and easily snatched the envelope from his hand. "Bye bye!" And with that she had shifted into her cat skin, envelope held tightly between her teeth, and shot off down the street in a blink of an eye.

(F(everyone's)I— Kate knows I am doing this. Don't worry, no one's going to die XD)

Indigo wheeled and glared at Mapleshade.
Twas' a poor decision taking that key out of the bank.

"No...!" Wolfram shoved the two men off, shoved past Indigo, and took off across the parking lot, following the bobbing ginger and black tail. I'm never going to catch her, I'm never going to catch her, I'm never going to catch her! His steps faltered as the slim cat slipped under a bush up ahead, and dissapered from view.

Sherri had followed, in cat version. We'll get her. We will. Not right now, but soon, she said in cat.

Jessi growled as Mapleshade disappeared from view. She was mad, not only at the cat-shifters, but at herself. If she had just attacked while she had the chance, Mapleshade wouldn't have gotten the poison. Without warning, she shot into the sky. She flew overhead, searching for the black and ginger cat.

Brisa froze, glaring defiantly at Mapleshade. When she left with the envelope Brisa took a few steps after Wolfram, already knowing it was useless. “Oh gosh,” she whispered, coming to a stop and covering her face with her hands. “Now what?” Lifting her head, she tracked the evil she-cat’s red shape until she disappeared around a corner, then blinked away her vision and dropped her hands down into her pockets to hide their shaking.

Connor offered a wry stare after them and turned to his wife with a huff. "Honestly, that woman. She's in a bank parking lot. Or was. Either way, this place should be crawling with police. Disappointing." He gave a quick disdainful shake of his head as unnecessary emphasis for his feelings regarding the law, then his skin morphed away into fur.
He smoothly recovered from his shift, then barreled across the parking lot with blurring paws, completely confident in his ability to run down the measly cat.

Wolfram hissed, and shifted without warning. His small cat form barreled through the bushes easily, tracking the ginger tail. A yowl pierced the air, a yowl of frustration mixed with pain. The wound on his shoulder throbbed, but nonetheless he pushed forward, his gaze trained on the ginger tail. Heart pounded, they both burst into a clearing on the other side of the bushes. I've got her! His heart soared as he pounded hard on the she-cats heels, certain he would get her until...she swerved, vanishing. He hadn't seen where the shifter had gone, instead tripping over his own paws and landing flat on the hard ground.
