"Thanks," Sherri gasped. She took a few deep breaths as she stood up, dusting the dirt off her jeans. He sure didn't seem alright. He didn't even move. What if he actually wasn't alive?
Toby watched as River, Ash, and Bleddyn raced off. Probably a trap. They're probably going to die. He thought. He dug around in his backpack and pulled out a water bottle. "Catch," He said, and tossed the bottle to Sherri. Without waiting to see if she caught it or if it hit her in the face, he walked to the car and sat down in the passenger seat, resting his chin on his hand.
With lightning reflexes Sherri hit the bottle away from herself before processing that she was supposed to catch it. She made a futile attempt before it fell into the dirt with a crunch. She groaned before picking it up and dusting the dirt off of it.
Sherri gulped the cool water greedily before screwing the cap back on and sloshing the liquid around in the bottle.
"Want any?" She asked Brisa, offering the other girl the bottle that was still slightly dirty.
She frowned and tried rubbing the dirt off with her finger.
“Oh, I’m good, but thanks,” Brisa replied to Sherri’s question m as Toby spoke."You were supposed to catch that." Toby said, not needing to look to know she dropped it. "You're lucky it didn't explode all over you. That would've been funny." When she offered the water to Brisa, a look of disgust crossed his face. "Better and less germy idea, she can have another bottle, one that hasn't been used."
(I’m kinda brain dead, sorry
