«We Could Be Legends»

Wolfram made his way to the van where everyone was gathering cautiously, sticking to the shadows until he reached it. He peered inside the van through the back door.
Lily sat in the backseat with Alec, the small boy huddled against her side. Alice sat with Ash and Camilla, Alpha laying just a bit away from them.
"Camilla?" He murmured, as she was closest to him, shoving the seat flat so he could painfully cram himself inside what would be the trunk of the van with them. "Where's Bleddyn?"
Alice cracked her eyes open at the mention of her cousins name, studying Wolfram, something seemed familiar about him, but Alice couldn't decide if she knew him or not.

"You look like you went through a meat grinder buddy." she said a smirk on her face. "I guess you're next."

Jessi sighed. She considered starting a petition to make wyvern a mandatory language to learn. ‘Translate.’ Jessi said, poking Toby with her claw.
“Only if you say please.” Toby replied. He rolled his eyes as she growled something at him. “I’m just- I’m just going to pretend I didn’t hear that,” Toby said, and then looked at River. “Jessi was getting worried. She wants you guys to get back to the cars so we can leave, but I see that’s what you’re already doing. Alice is awake and can probably heal you.”
Jessi nudged Toby again. ‘Ask then if they’ve seen Bleddyn.’
Will you stop poking me?!” Toby said, shooting Jessi a frustrated look. “Uhh... I don’t know what that last word is,” he looked up at River. “Have you guys seen... er... blood?” Toby glanced at Jessi. “Jess, if you can’t- can’t see blood than you’re more blind than I am.” He said quietly.
River and Lachlan nearly collectively choked when he asked if they'd seen blood.
"Er, Bleddyn, maybe? No, we haven't." River said, glancing at Wolfram, watching him limp away from them and to the van.
Alice looked up at her sister and smiled, "Of course." She said cheerfully. She turned back to what she was supposed to be doing, and looked Ash over. At least she wasn't oozing glowing green goop with black eyes, like she thought she would be.
Alice gently brushed loose strands of hair from Ash's face tilting her head to the side to get a closer look at the bruises on her face.
"What kind of trouble did Bleddyn get herself in to this time?"
Alice put her hand gently on the side of Ash's face and closed her eyes, furrowing her brow.
"Who would even do something like this?" She whispered, convincing herself further that this couldn't be reality.

Camilla stared at Alice with increasing concern, shifting from foot to foot nervously, but a male voice interrupted her jumbled thoughts, causing her to whirl around to face him. "Wolfram! I've never been gladder to see you." She rasped, glancing over him. "No, I haven't seen her since... Earlier. Do you know where Aunt River is? Or Crow, Jessi?" She said, throwing another nervous glance at Alice when she spoke to make sure she still seemed stable enough.

"Meat grinder? That's new." Wolfram muttered, leaning against the van to support himself. Wait...she can heal me. Then I can help more...but River...
"I'll be fine, Alice. Save your energy for River, Lach and Toby."
River and Lachlan nearly collectively choked when he asked if they'd seen blood.

"And I you." Wolfram nodded in greeting, glancing through the van window when Camilla said she hadn't seen Bleddyn. But all he saw was thick smoke. "Great...so she's missing," he murmured, frowning as he looked back at Camilla.
"River's with Lachlan and Toby. They're coming, I think. I saw Jess not too long ago, and Crow...I think I saw Crow earlier."

Toby frowned when they started choking. He considered asking if they needed the Heimlich, but quickly brushed that thought aside. He thought about it for a minute. “Yeah, probably... Bleddyn would make a lot more sense.” Toby said slowly, squinting at the ground. His head jerked to the side a few times, and then he slammed the palm of his hand into the side of his head. Toby looked up at River with a panicked look and took a few steps away from her, his eyes flickering from purple to black and then back to purple. His eyes darted around the field for Jessi, but he couldn’t see her. Or anything, for that matter. He subconsciously fidgeted with the chain of necklace, dropping his gaze back to the ground.

"Hmm? Last I saw Toby and Lachlan they were fine." Alice said inspecting her aunts injuries. She smiled at her sleeping face, the bruises had completely cleared away. The glowing orb was slowly losing it's light, but Alice didn't notice.

"You're here. You're next." She said firmly, with a quick glare at him over the seat, making sure he wouldn't leave before she made it around to the open trunk.

"She... Yeah, she is... And I don't think Lach was hurt, but he may have been though... Good. They need to hurry up and get over here." Camilla said, pushing hair back out of her eyes. Maybe Aunt River can talk to Alice. She's acting way too strange for me.

River had opened her mouth to nag them to start towards the van, when Toby's head began twitching around, his eyes changing colors as he hit himself. She glanced at Lachlan, the two of them sharing a worried look. When she looked back to Toby, the panicked look he gave her made her heart twinge.
River edged towards him a step, eyeing him with concern. "Toby, you okay?"

"They're still injured." Wolfram muttered, rolling his eyes at her glare. "Alice—fine! Heal me, then I'm going to find Bleddyn before she get's herself killed."
Alice walked around to the open hatch, tilting her head quizzically at Wolfram. He knows my name, he seems to know Dyn. Who is this guy? Cam called him Wolfram. Should I know him? She shook her head unknowingly frowning at him. This is just a dream, he's no one.
"Don't worry about Bleddyn, I'm sure she's fine." She looked him over trying to find the worst of his injuries, her healing always worked best at the point of contact. "Uhh, tell me where it hurts?" She asked, at a loss for where the worst of it could be hiding under all the blood, dirt, and soot.

"They'll be back soon," Wolfam assured her, giving her a smile smile of reassurance.

Wolfram narrowed his eyes, watching her. She looked at him like she didn't even know him, like she had no idea who he was. What's wrong with her?
"Alice, wait," he held up a hand, tilting his head. "What's wrong? Why do you keep looking at me so weirdly? It's just me, it's just Wolfram."

Camilla returned his smile, thankful for his reassurance.
When Wolfram confronted her sister, she too decided to announce her worries. "He's right, Alice. You haven't been acting right. You go into a mini coma for the entire day, sleep through a battle, fire, and an earthquake, wake up and collapse on the ground and scream at me and Finley-- Which, under the circumstance, was kinda understandable-- But now you're all fine and dandy. Acting like everything is fine, and you don't look like you recognize Wolf. I mean, he's new but he's been with us for days. You're really sure you're okay?" She rambled out, her voice sick with worry. Gosh, I sound like Mom.
