I was thinking exactly that myself, but the gossipers were themselves in a corner of the library, in a big huddle around someone's facebook, so I just didn't listen to them.

It took me a moment to realize why Gerbil was calling him Eww xD I was thinking of something else entirely . . .

I don't get why there is such a big facebook craze, either. A lot of facebook messaging is . . . well, it would be like sending twelve postcards to a friend everyday with weird messages like "I showered," or "I'm eating lunch." I would feel weird posting that on a website, let alone calling a friend to tell them that. Maybe I just have a distorted view of the whole thing.
