My Hoovers Silkies produce great quality chicks.

so from most hatcheries the minimum is already too many.
The price pays off because I can order the three birds that I'd like without worrying about them dying in the male, having extra roos for warmth, or having too many chicks that I can't keep.

Unfortunately for me and my zip code the minimum at MPC is seven, not three :( For me, what’s three more, but seven is really pushing it. Maybe next year. Really went nuts with the chicken math.

First- I cannot believe that I typed 'male' instead of 'mail' and I"m now very embarrassed.
I think that it depends on how close you are to the hatchery. I'm right near them so I can do their lowest minimums of 3 standards 5 bantams.
