I'm pretty new, I just started my pofile earlier this month , just trying to find my way around this sight.... I love BYC so far very informative for a first time chicken momma <3 I only Lurked for a couple days,until I decided to Join, I Can clearly say I have Chicken on the brain.... All I think about is my birds,Hahahaha,...I think its a sickness,...~

I have a totally out there random question....

have any of you heard the world hum? I used to be able to hear it all the time at night on the prairies. I can't hear it here though, which I think is kinda strange, but I figure it has to do with sound dampening things in my area like trees and hills.

it's a really low frequency sound... kind of like some one is revving their car only really really far away.

Yes! I also hear random high pitched frequencies sometimes

That's probably just your inner ear. Same effect as putting your ear to a seashell. Your ear is just ringing.
