This happened when we were brooding chicks. My mom was vacuuming and I insisted on bringing the chicks into my room while she was doing it cause “they’re afraid of the vacuum”

Lol, I just stuff them in my pocket and carry them around.

Not like violently... only 1-2 at a time...

Mine is similar. While my chicks were in the basement (they were really little) my dad wanted me to use the shop vac and vacuum up dust, shavings, poop, etc from the chicks. I said I would have to wait because they were afraid of the vacuum (it isn’t loud at all) and he asked how long and I said till they’re big enough to go out. I had to vacuum still.
Also a popular excuse with me is “I forgot”, but strangely I can remember to check alerts in byc.

Feeding snakes live mice isn’t recommended because they attack the snakes sometimes. They also smell really bad.

Edit: rats are pretty nice, and don’t really smell.

That’s very true, but some are significantly worse than others.
