I am sorry, Roo, but, in my experience, NO. I've raised over seven D'uccle roos, and each was a horror.
I have one purebred left now- and I love figuring out which new mutt chicks are his grandchildren.
Know how I tell?
Which ones are the brats. They always turn out to have something of D'uccle plumage.
