Anyone thinking about day olds yet? :D

I have room for 80 chickens, and I only have three.......

Long time no see, not that you know me well, but ive seen you on and off... this spring our grand plan is to hatch like crazy. Our d'Anvers started laying, so after a couple hatches we will try those. Right now today 8 Buckeyes hatching. One hatched and the others haven't pipped but they aren't even supposed to hatch today, it's supposed to be tomorrow. XD Luckily, it is healthy and it hatched within like 4 hours of pipping :0 fast young Buckeye chick. Plus ultra friendly. Went to church then bowling with just a pip, then came home and a whole chick! Next hatch will be Ameraucanas, EEs, and Buckeyes. We bought day-old Anconas and are planning on getting d'Anvers. Some Mille' Fluer, black, blue, I think quail, and possibly something else. (I'm a d'Anver addict. In case you haven't found out yet.):love

I’m currently trying to convince the fam to get more this spring, we have 6 and space for more, and we’ll be making an extended run and we have the ability to build another coop
What types are you planning to get? Don't forget that if you want a rooster or some other kind of fowl, check the ordinances.

Hi! I remember you. :D
That's great! I hope all of your hatch rates are great!

I'm hoping to keep some Ameraucanas and Cuckoo Marans, and hatch olive eggers next spring.
