have any of you heard the world hum? I used to be able to hear it all the time at night on the prairies. I can't hear it here though, which I think is kinda strange, but I figure it has to do with sound dampening things in my area like trees and hills.

it's a really low frequency sound... kind of like some one is revving their car only really really far away.

Wow! I thought I was the only one this happened too!! :O I'll wake u in the middle of the night hearing humming. One time I woke up to humming and a few minutes later I swear I heard jets. Weirdest thing but you aren't alone!

Couldn't agree more! People have got to look around them and at their surroundings. The world around them is so much more advanced than technology will ever be! And if someone thinks that life is boring, just looking at a bird tells you that it's not!

I'm pretty new, I just started my pofile earlier this month , just trying to find my way around this sight.... I love BYC so far very informative for a first time chicken momma <3 I only Lurked for a couple days,until I decided to Join, I Can clearly say I have Chicken on the brain....
