As you can see, Moony still has his bald patches, but he is growing in new feathers and it doesn't seem to be bothering him. I've made one of many milk jug waterers so he can dunk his bill fully. I'm keeping it a little shallower than I'd like for now so the other two can still reach easily. Last few days we've had diced oregano for breakfast and the occasional splash in a shallow bathtub to keep clean. Somehow I always manage to not have my camera on me during the cutest bits, but these ducklings are just so sweet. Here are some pictures of them enjoying their snack! Please excuse the camera blur.

Update #4:

Moony: 14 days old (2 weeks)
Holly & Puddles: 10 days old

Still rainy here and perfect for some lazy days together. All tuckered out and ready for a warm nap pile. They really are the sweetest!

Moony has been making little noises that sound suspiciously like honks. I know its really early to tell, but I'm starting to bet he is a she! Also, we are going to upgrade to a kiddie pool this week.

I'll have an update later today, but for now I do have a question! :jumpy

I've been feeding the ducklings 20% Purina flock raiser crumbles and had planned to cut the amount down to 18% at 3 weeks. However, Metzer's says that if you only use 20% protein feed you should continue feeding it for at least 4 weeks but doesn't given their reasoning. Any opinions on this?
