I didn't tell anyone about Peg for a long time... seemed that any time I had a 'special needs' type bird, as soon as I said something about them I lost them... WV was the very first person I ever told about Peg... and then we planned our first meet up when Peg was about 2 or 3 months old, she came with... WV got to meet Peg first, and they adore each other...

That's a nice story! I know what you mean about mentioning special needs birds... it does seem like I jinx them if I talk about them to anyone.

she confirmed my "have to have" call ducks. She was the first one I ever held.

I already posted this somewhere else, but it's the only pic I got so far. I love my ducks, Sonja, Gilbert( the black one), Jasper( the other drake), Daphne( not pictured but a black bibbed) and Jemima! I'm excited for their babies in the spring!

Decided to get ducks this spring, fell in love with Calls, ( the bigger ducks are jus too messy to me) and ordered six from Purely Poultry! Sadly Buttercup was killed by my dog, but now I can't imagine the poultry yard without my ' Dukes and Duckesses' as I call them.
