Oh, dear. I'm not sure if I should be panicked or thrilled. I guess the person who outbid me didn't follow through, so I got the falb fee eggs. I only bid $16. Even with shipping, that's a steal.

The feed in the feeder is dry. What I did not account for was the feed in the bedding that got wet from earlier this week. Bedding removed. I was checking, but not enough. So, moldy feed is possible. Down 4 and another starting to worry. Still learning, thanks to all for the help.

Planning on another meat run for the rat cage grow outs. Setting 8 July for 25 July hatch. B#3 butcher day also to clear up cages. The white/pied are neat.

Looking through the notes, the Kiki eggs were more challenging than the store bought. Could be genetics? All the store bought popped pretty close like everyone reported. The homegrown spread out and were the last to pop with the store bought. Random thoughts.

just candled next batch at day 9.....tossed 12 non-fertile....only 1 was a celadon. day 5 extra jumbos +homegrowns have 6 suspicious and day 3ish homegrowns have 6+ of 11 developing! some had the little “spider” soooo cool!
day 18 just started around an hour ago....16 in brooder, 4 in bator....more pips!! “impatiently waiting but not hovering “ i already gave hubby 1 to play!! and little quailies said “i’m a jumbo” hahahaha
i was going to weigh one but my son’s “g” scale has dead batteries

unfortunately all my remotes and extra batteries are “AAA” i already searched the house!! hahaha only found 1 where I had already stolen the other! gonna text and see if my son will pick some up on his way home from work since it’s his scale!

actually i missed her entire auction!! had to go back and look for it!! but I did place a couple other bids today including recently on 60 bidders choice!! i don’t win and nobody backs out!!! I’m kinda in shock....never heard of anyone backing out before especially when such great deals!!......
