True! Both of the ones I helped out had to be culled. Little soft, fluffy Curly Toes has shuffled off this mortal coil. He's gone to join the bleedin' choir invisible. With my help.

Yeah, which is why I did it, even though I didn't want to. At least I was able to save one of the curly toe chicks. You can't tell that one apart from the others now.

This batch of hatching is officially over. 9 healthy chicks, 2 that had to be culled. 11 hatches total out of 28 eggs. Of the 28 eggs, I believe 3 were clear and never developed anything, another 3 stopped very early on since they were almost completely clear too.

I’ve only hatched them twice but both times they were spread over 3-4 days.

The May 28th 17 chicks one.

I was waiting until today to call it on the remaining eggs. My numbers are 12 set, 2 clear, 7 hatchers (1 died), 3 failed to hatch. So 6 healthy chicks.
