Don't make me drive down there and harrass you until you do the deed yourself. You totally can do it. You've got hands, just like the mex does! No reason why they won't be just as functional for squeezing some clippers together.

Drive. As in drive the sleigh. Wouldn't that be "Don't make me sleigh down there..."? That doesn't sound right either. Maybe "sled". It is all downhill from the North pole.

Jk, jk. I obviously would NOT actually enjoy it and I am sure there would be LOTS of crying involved and maybe I still couldn’t do it, idk, but I want those quail poppers!! Lol

I actually think I’m more worried about just being extremely grossed out and not wanting to eat it cause I’d be worried it was contaminated or something.

Well as young as she is, thats when i started. As i started out hatching i made myself responsible for my extra males because i Know theyd fight to the death for too many roos(which is why an extra cage or three wont work unless u house every one of the males seperatly within sight of others.) I know its a problem to try to get rid of them i see people struggle with it all the time. I know that this is for the best quality of life for Everyone involved. Including the food i eat, the things they sell in stores, and the lives those poor critters lead. id so much rather be ingesting and feeding healthy to my children. Kelsey understands those things as i spelled them out for her. Your a lil older and more set in a nurturing role. The key above all for me was that the wild type cots i couldnt really tell apart to get attched to them. The chickens were a little harder and i still havent been able to do a turkey because theyre so personable and the ducks i couldnt because theyre my favorite type Ever. Everyone has their line and imo this is about setting expectations for herself from the on set.

Wow that’s impressive!! And you are exactly right, I think that’s why I want to do it ha I know they’d suffer if I didn’t. Although wait... so... they can’t be housed together? What if there were no females around??

And yeah I don’t think I could ever do ducks or turkeys or rabbits haha or even chickens maybe.

Some pictures. I took videos too but they’re waaaaayyyyyy too long and you can kind of see everything here anyway plus I don’t want to clog up the thread so I just won’t bother uploading them to YT lol unless anyone wants me to lol they show the rest of the garden. But I had to take 4 or 5 takes to get it short enough. cause... well.....

Note the times the shortest one I could do was still over 2 minutes. I talk too much.

Quail people: I'm converting my chicken run to a quail run. Will they go back to their pen at night or am I going to have to chase the little buggers in nightly?

I don't want to butcher the extra quail, but no matter how hard I searched, I can't find anyone to pay to do it for me. At that point, I resigned myself to the fact that I'm going to have to do it myself.

I still haven't processed any quail, but I have culled two chicks. I didn't enjoy it at all, but I did it.

@Texas Kiki - shame on you! Making someone do something that you won't do yourself! j/k If I had someone I could foist the task off onto, I probably would. Then again, maybe not, because I'd feel guilty.

I LOVE dog sledding!!! Although you may have to switch to carts once you get out of the snowy areas.

Aww that stinks you couldn’t find anyone!! Although even if I could, I’d probably feel weird paying someone to do something I could do myself haha
