What I thought was the tip of the beak was actually a toe.
The fork is pointing at where the crack was and what I thought was the beak...the toe.
I drew a black line on the air cell. See how low the crack was?

Dummies are shooting off fireworks all over. :barnie The dogs and horses are not okay with it.

Yeah definitely malpositioned, and looks like it wasn’t even done absorbing the sac. Bummer. :hmm If these three turn out to be all females will you keep them as breeders or eat them?

I have no clue what I am going to do yet.
 
But the crack...it cracked yesterday way before anyone hatched.
:confused: I dunno, if that was the toe, how did it crack? Did you candle that specific egg prior? Did it have any cracks from before?
Did you see the dead number one to pips yolk sac? It was huge too.
Also unknown, I was told the yolk that size was from when they went into lockdown. It possible/probable I was told wrong.
