Quail getting into position to break out of the egg
I like the notch. Looking at the videos I worry that the scissors could slide and hurt the quail more than can be helped. Thanks! Now all I need are some quail. :lau

OTOH I have 22 chickens to harvest soon but not before the new (additional) freezer is delivered or I’ll have nowhere to put them. And three humongous BBW turkeys that are heartbreakingly cute. And a bunch more heritage jakes in a few more months once they can credibly be called toms. DH says he will not eat the BBWs. Sigh. He probably means that. They’re just so... kind of lovable, more than the heritage ones, which are wilder. I didn’t try to tame them, either. They’re just tame all on their own.

I got these. They should do the job.

Gah. Is it already almost time? A week from Tuesday will be the day?!
Yeah I'm not looking forward to the drive. Debating whether or not to stop at family's. I'm going to try to get a couple pounds of salmon from smoked salmon guy afterwards. I hope they can give us info on how to legally sell quail eggs and how to fill in the cal egg handlers/sellers thing

There looks like a hundred in here!
With a hundred different colors.
Oh boy!
