Yes a real job with taxes and u dont need to worry with a resume these days if you can tell an employer that uve been working at so n so for such n such and that they can say your a valuable employee who will show up everyday. When i brought resumes to apply they laughed at me at anything less than a 6 figure income kind of job.

That said, I’ve never had a real one ever.

Unless the pet sitting/walking clients would count as references? Cause I have been doing that fairly regularly for over a year but not every day and also the main one is family and the other one they’re not home when I show up so idk if that would count. But I do a great job.

I highly recommend getting an assortment bunch of eggs.

All these colors are too much fun.

I only did that to start and it's about driven me batty needing them all. I am finally going the other direction and have given away about half my colors.

Also, I just sprained, strained, broke, or dislocated (time will tell) my pinky toe on my own doorframe and I am ticked off. But y'all will get lots of color pages from me tonight.

I just realized I am down to 20 birds! 5 more males to eat or sell and then I am at a number I can start hatching for myself again.

AND it's almost baby bunny season.

Also worked on better feeders and waterers for everyone. Two things that might be of interest:

1. Teflon plumbing tape works well on the threads on the nipple waterers to prevent leaks.

2. We took a piece of hardware cloth and wrapped it inside a metal bin feeder to try to decrease mess. Hoping it works.

My husband was super helpful and is amazingly capable at “projecting”, as we call it. He is not, however, an animal person and only consents to my ridiculousness to humor me and because it is good life experience for the kids. Needless to say I got some looks for all the quail chores he helped me with today. Still did it though.

Do I remember correctly that your quail are indoors? That is impressive you can manage a flock that size and do all that work with colors then.

Kiki and tbh probably all the BYCer’s but especially from the Balut thread have been telling me I need to get one forever (and I really do want one) and I keep not doing it. so now I’m going to force myself to find one finally haha

I really do want one but I am just a huge procrastinator/not do-er. It’s a real problem.

I do dog walk/pet sit and want to start a business doing that and also training but I also want to move out and I apparently need a real one with taxes and stuff first for that.

So yeah.

Gotta just find any job at all apparently haha

Or at least I think so.... it’s any job, @Texas Kiki , right? Or are there more specifics/parameters now?

Any steady job will work for me.
