I’m still waiting on eggs from my littles! Chickens not quail but still. I thought I got one from one little last week but then I found an old picture yesterday from earlier this year before I got the chicks with an egg that looked nearly identical so now I just don’t know! Especially since I’ve gotten no little eggs since. Think maybe I’ve just gotten some fairy eggs from the bigs. Although I did get an oddly small and colored EE egg yesterday. Couldn’t tell if it was new or not but I think it’s from my older birds. But idk. Maybe not. It was a regular egg though not fairy but small and in between the other girls usual colors. But so frustrating having older hens and new birds cause the older girls are starting to occasionally lay eggs that look like pullet eggs!! Small, misformed, fairy, etc.

But anyway, it’s exciting getting new eggs!

Figured you were kidding!! But I would definitely collect more then set them all!!

I hope my slacker chickens start laying soon! I think they take after me

I don't know what this is...I will Google now.
Do you have an extra egg you can practice on?

I find that in the beginning my regular small flash light works best to light up the whole egg then towards the end my phone light works better to see movement while shining it in the air cell.
